16A Interlocked Socket and 16 Amp Plug 3 Pin 2PE 240v Blue Wall Mount IP44 Switched

Well priced and easily installed, once fitted and wired in this socket has made a functional addition to my workshop, so much easier having a plug instead of hardwired component. The socket and switch are very positive and give a very durable feel in use.

This is one of those items which either works or doesn't work. In this case it works. Used to connect an emergency generator to a household electricity supply. In use switch off the power switch of the consumer unit. You do that so that power is not sent down the line putting power company employees at risk. Then connect your generator using this switch and start it up. Reverse the process when mains power is restored.

Really good product, well made and easy to fit

Far cheaper than available elsewhere and appears to be a solid enough unit, looks well designed so should remain waterproof but only time will tell.

All felt good quality and lock on and off works well I had a few before that didn't work to good this one works as it should

No issues with the socket, however the problem was the plug wasn’t delivered. I ordered another plug as didn’t have time to return and wait for another package.

Great for the price and bonus that it comes with a plug, also good that cant be turned on unless plug is in socket
