My new favorite footwear
First time cowboy boot guy here. A friend of mine had these and I thought they looked really cool, yet tough. So I decided to grab a pair. First on the sizing, which is a bit tough. I usually wear an 8, but got a 7.5 based on other comments. This size for my foot is perfect. But what I will say is that the boot is EXTREMELY hard to get on your foot for the first few days. It really takes putting them on, and taking them off a number of times to stretch them out. But once they do stretch out, they are easy to put on and surprisingly comfortable. As they are my first pair of cowboy boots, I don't have anything to compare them to, but I expected them to be more rigid and clunky. The wide toe box provides plenty of room towards the front, and I think it gives them more of a "work boot" look than cowboy boot. It becomes a preference thing, but I really think they look great. I live in Minnesota and had these boots on while sledding with my kids recently, and they held up great and my feet didn't get cold. But I will say be REALLY careful walking on any hard packed snow or ice. The soles of these boots are SUPER slick. To sum up my feelings, I find myself picking out jeans in the morning that will accommodate my boots because I look forward to wearing them! (Note: I'm not an ultra-trendy guy, but I have found that my more slim-fit jeans do not look great with these boots. However Levi's 513 jeans work perfect)

Great Boots!!!
I came across these boots at a local store and tried on a pair. They looked really good, but they we still too big on my feet. I wear a size 9 shoe and was trying on a size 8 in these boots. So, I got on Amazon and found that they had a 7.5....and at a much lower price. I ordered the 7.5's and they came in today. They fit perfectly! Since I have shorter and narrow feet I have had a ton of trouble finding a pair of boots that fit. A few months ago I searched the entire region hoping to find a pair that fit me and had no success. Of course, I did not know I would have to go a full size and a half lower than my shoe size either. My advice is that you at least go one size smaller when you buy these boots. Also, please realize that a D/M is for narrow or regular feet and any type of "E" rating is for wider feet. These are some very comfortable and good looking boots. I especially like the worn look that they have. You honestly can't go wrong with them. Amazon has the best price around to boot!

Amazing! Worth it!
They are Ariat boots so you already know they are amazing. The top part of the boot is very soft leather so if you want a firm boot these ones are not that. But very comfortable out of the box first time I wore them was at a music festival for 11 hours. No problems at all. Good quality and they will last you for years. They even smell like expensive leather. Canโt go wrong with Ariat. I love the square toe look! Just get a half size smaller. I usually wear a menโs 8 so I got a 7.5 and they are perfect!

Great Boot--Order them small !
Excellent boot! Very soft upper and color is exactly what i was hoping for. Placed order friday and got them the following Monday with the free shipping! Like everyone else mentions, definitely order these at least one full size smaller, or even 1-1/2 sizes smaller! I wear size 8.5 dress shoe and size 9 running shoe. Ordered these as size 7.5 and they fit good, even still a bit loose. I still have a good inch space between big toe and front of boot, but top part of foot, by front of ankle fits tight inside the boot, so i may have to wear these around the house a few days to see how they break in. Heel slides a bit when i walk, but from what i hear that is normal for this type of boot and may just need a different type of sock. May have to consider returning them for a size 7 even!

Poor stitching
I have had these boots exactly 1 year. I use them on the farm every day. The stitching has come apart on one boot. I feel they have been a good boot but expected them to last longer.
