Borderlands 2 - Playstation 3

let me start by saying it's Very Similar to the First Borderlands right to the way the cars drive, that said the rest of the game is so perfectly polished that the gunplay is glorious. the weapon variety this time around is superb! you really can tell when you start using a new gun. the look and feel of each gun seems unique thus far and the weapon rariety is back as well, making one rush to the shower of colored loot that seems to explode out of just about every enemy! it seems gearbox really listened to it's fans, there's a Mini Map Now which is a Welcome addition, the skill trees feel far more useful and have three catagories for each character. some power up abilities such as Phaselock while others will grant less recoil and also abilities like deploying the turret. The enemies are quite a bit smarter then last game and more durable too they can prove quite difficult and the game is brutal, in a good way. this is not one of the games that someone will beat in a day. the open world is back but seems to be about ten times bigger. the world is just Huge! I have found myself lost more often then not though the quest markers return and again some are vague but that's a minor issue in such a well made game. the colors are far more vibrant as is the world. the new enemies will kill you, often so don't dispair just battle through it and slowly you'll notice your power growing as your level increases (though you do not get a skill point until lvl 5 ugh) another new feature is Badass tokens earned by completing challenges throughout the game like kill x number of bandits. once done you get a token that allows one minor power up in a variety of abilities. class mods also return along with artifacts and alien weapons. the combat this time around is far smoother and your skills allow you to improve just about anything that might annoy you about your character. don't like how much recoil your weapons have, toss a few points into recoil reduction! they seemed to have thought of everything. finally across the land like last time there are domes though they differ this time in that they all specialize such as the Robot Slaughter dome the Creature Slaughter Dome etc. (creature slaughter dome while a pre order exclusive will be available soon for 9.99) Gameplay: 5 stars! every gripe I had in the first game is fixed and made better. Sound: 5 stars, Fantastic Voice acting bring characters to life, guns sound great. Controls: almost exactly the same but made more friendly 5 Stars! Graphics: 5 Stars vivid and bright colors and color usage in all the right places! Overall: a stunning game whether you played the first or not this is a must own for FPS and RPG fans alike. the game is simply so much fun 6 hours had passed while I was playing and I barely noticed. the world is so Huge this time I feel I have barely scratched the surface. I am loot hunting like most of the rest of you and hope to update this review a bit down the road. overall this is one of the few Must Own titles of this year. headsets work great this time around as does matchmaking co-op is flawless though it's still a loot grab-a-thon since it's fair game if it's in a chest or on the ground, while some may be bothered by this I say to you give it a chance it's just amazing. the vehicles now include a 4 man vehicle so no one get's left behind this time. (smaller cars are available too) and the new customization features while rather limited by rpg standards are a welcome addition here. some look really good others are wicked. it's a Five Star Game. buy it today!

I bought this game not expecting to fall in love with it. I played the previous installment and immediately lost interest pretty quickly but there's something about this game that kept me coming back. It's been the first game since Fallout 3 and BioShock that kept my complete undivided attention. The four standard character classes all have their strong points: Sirens [Maya] - are great for groups as medics and slowing down the battle. Assassins [Zer0] - can give you a bit of room in battle with cloaking devices & sniper enhancements. Commandos [Axton] - Their sentries can easily do a ton of damage and give you the much need back up. Gunzerkers [Salvador] - Give you the option to wield any too guns at the same time and take a bevy of damage in gunfights. There are also Mecromancers [Gaige] & a new class [Krieg] being released soon but both are available as DLC or on a expansion pack. The game is great as a single player experience but is epic with two or more players. I never knew how much more fun it was until I played with a relative... I as a siren and he as a Commando. We left a trail of carnage unlike I ever seen in a video game and mainly because out powers complimented one another. I could heal and phaselock (freeze) and he could lay deathtraps with his sentries that just decimated the opposition. I definitely recommend anyone who plays this to play multiplayer and witness how much fun it is for friends to get together and blow through waves of enemies. The campaign is fun and Handsome Jack [Main Antagonist] is a perfect fit as a enemy you love to hate. Pandora is a filled with many unforgettable characters such as Claptrap, Sir Hammerlock, Moxxxi, Marcus and my personal favorite Tiny Tina who will all have you laugh in between the gun battles. The game could be beat within a weekend if you skip all the side missions but you're only robbing yourself of so many memorable moments that it would behoove you to explore all the side missions if not only to level your character up. I beat this game twice and I am at level 50 and still having a blast battling Pandora's Worst. Not many games sport such style and finesse like this game as well as welcomes teamwork in a non deathmatch COD way. It's a greet FPS with RPG elements that welcome you to choose what style of play you like. The Skill Tree really gives you the option to tailor you character to your strong points. Whether you rather have a healing factor or you rather deal ample amounts of damage or simply want to move faster it's all up to you. And I haven't even got to the guns in this game. I guarantee you while playing this game you will find a gun every so often that will make you say "Where have you been all my life?" as you inflict such a devastating amount of damage that it will become your go-to weapon until you find the next "OMG" gun. I could talk about the shields and mods that will reflect bullets or "nuke" your enemies dumb enough to attack you but there is so much in this game that I can't help but say it was THE best game I played last year. Mainly because I never got bored playing it. It was just plain fun that few games really know how to conjure up.

シューティングの部分のつくりが良く、他のゲームに負けてません。 銃を撃った時の感覚など、まるでゲームとは思えないでき。 今作には西部劇を連想させる早撃ちの出来る銃がありますが、 これがかっこよくて仕方ない。 背景の音楽とも相なって西部劇みたい。 ミッションの前半から中盤にかけて？ 雪原のシーンが比較的多いのですが、 マップが単調だなと感じたのが少し不満なくらいです。 ただ今作にはそれが特徴的なのだと主張されたら、 文句もつけられないくらい、他の部分が良すぎるので 許しちゃう。 ボーダーランドを購入する時はユーチューブの動画などを見て、 最初は敬遠していたのですが、２作とも今になれば 買ってよかったです。 何が良いかって、何よりもしっかりした作りですね。 シューティングとしてもＲＰＧとしても、妥協して作ってないので、 製作者の意気込みを感じる作品というのは、近頃珍しいですね。 マスエフェクト３などはあらゆる部分が子供じみていて、 カッコをつけてるだけで肝心のゲーム部分はまるでなってない。 それに比べてこちらはゲームとしてのコアな部分をしっかりと 作ってあるので、時間を忘れて楽しむことが出来ます。 ただ前作の欠点を一つ... それはコープ時にホストの受けているミッションが、 参加者すべてに即座に反映されるということですかね。 これが原因で、ストーリー上では受けてもいないミッションを 、強制的に受けた状態にされるので面倒が起きます。 最初たくさんのミッションを受けた状態にしたままのホスト部屋に 参加したときは、何が起きたのか分かりませんでした。 私もたくさんのミッションを受けた状態になって、 しかもそれがシングルなどどこに行っても解除されないので、 やる気をなくしてセーブデータを消したのは良い思い出です。 それ以降、ホスト部屋に参加するのにはだいぶ控えるようになりました。 自分で部屋を作りホストになる分には関係ないのですが... ただ自分がホストになっても人が集まらないことが多くて... 今作でも同様だと思いますので、ホスト部屋に後から参加する場合は、 注意する必要があるとだけ言っておきます。

前作よりパワーアップしています。前作にはないキャラクター、スキルなどいろんな所が進化しています。前作にハマった人にはオススメです。あといろんな新作ゲームでわざと評価を下げる人がいるようですが気にしなくていいです。
