Looks good and fits perfect.The cost way and hell too much
It's perfect. But way too expensive for a piece of plastic that was vacuum formed worth about 10 bucks.

I love the look it gives to my Jeep.
It give my Jeep a nice look. Very sturdy. Easy to install. So far it has stayed in place just with the tapes it brought.

Durable and looks great
So this is a decent product, just seemed a little pricey to me for what it is. Installed on my Jeep after repainting. The included tape didn't hold, a couple of screws were necessary to keep this in place. Overall I like it.

Fits very well!
Easy to put on. Not wanted to have the guard lat flat on my hood I place 4 self tapping screws under the lip of the hood and placed little rubber bumpers to keep the guard from slapping on the hood and damaging it. Great product overall and fit well.

Rugged Ridge = Poor Quality Manufacturing
This is a cheap, flimsy product. I bought a used Jeep that already had one installed, so I bought a new one to cover up the damage it caused. As per the last guy, I had to rivet it to the hood just to keep it on. They clearly don't test their products, and I can't fathom how they've stayed in business.

Does not secure effectively enough
I bought this for my TJ and it lasted not even 6 months. It only screws into the hood in 2 locations at each end under the hood. The rest of the mounting process is by use of 3M tape. At city speeds this is sufficient, but not for highway. I was driving down the interstate at about 70 mph and I watched it start to lift and flutter meaning the 3M tape had stopped holding it down. Then it snapped out of no where and was gone. When I stopped, it had ripped off and snapped at both sides where it screws down, all of the 3M tape was gone. It clearly does not have a good enough installation to be secure at highway speeds or heavy wind. I followed the installation instructions to the letter, but was leery about the longevity of this hood guard. It needs to be redesigned to have more screw type mounts for securing it. Its too bad, it looked really great and I got a lot of compliments on it.
