what is the expiration date on this?

I bought one for a relative and they told me the chocolates were kind of stale and like had a smell of having been in storage for too long. As for an expiration date ,can't find one.

How do I know when this chocolatewas made ??

Made in Germany. Nice design, but not the best tasting chocolate.

Anyone know what the 11th day shape is? We can't figure it out :(

We thought it was candlesticks....?????
