Nice expansion :)
tl;dr if you liked the base game, getting this expansion is worth it I have the base Dungeon Mayhem game and fell in love with it immediately after the first game, so had to get the expansion! The cards are thin and flimsy, and don't have a protective coating to make them water-resistant or durable. The cards are slightly smaller than a standard deck of cards, so if you wanted to sleeve them to make them last longer, you would need to pay attention to the sizing. I've played with the cards a couple times, and so far they have not shown signs of wear and tear despite being held and shuffled a lot. However, due to the lack of a protective coating, I expect these cards to not last as long, so will be looking to sleeve them ASAP. I have experience playing D&D with my friends, and I played this with them and they enjoyed the game a lot! One of my friends who played D&D with us said that they prefer playing using these cards than playing actual Dungeons and Dragons because the cards tells her what to do and it is easier to play and understand. She said that she often felt intimidated by the choices in regular D&D and couldn't get into the games as there were so many rules and stats to pay attention to, so this game really is a more accessible diet version of the real thing! It doesn't encompass all the aspects of a regular game of D&D, but it does a good job simulating the best parts of the game :) would recommend if you want to introduce D&D to people or get them interested, the cards are beautifully illustrated and the gameplay is really easy to learn and teach. Gameplay is super quick and satisfying as you can easily set up game ending combos like a Nat20 in a real game of D&D haha (there is also a very cute illustration on the inner flap of the lid when you open the box!! A lovely detail I think)

Awesome
Love this game. Gives you a little insight into d&d and a feel if magic the gathering. Its like...dnd magic the gathering for kids. My sons will contest that comparison but that's how I see it. In fact i wish magic the gathering was as easy to play as this. There..I said it! Played with husband and boys who collectively have about 60 years of d&d/mtg experience between them. They thoroughly enjoy it.it can be gast paced and if you are clever you can build really good moves that just pound the enemy one after another. There is probably a term for that. Anyway I recommend

Eye of the Beholder
Fun little combat card game. Basically attack your opponent/s with character based skills. Including some famous Dungeons and Dragons characters and monsters. Good quick game that can be played in 10-15mins. Lots of variety in the different characters.

Great addition to base game
A fantastic addition to the base game, Dungeon Mayhem. This expansion pack lets another 2 people play, or allows 4 players additional choice of decks. The game follows the same rules as the standard game; however one of these decks has additional rules that are slightly more complicated, so pay attention to the rule sheet (which only details this pack; for full game rules, see the original deck or check the link provided in the box to see them online). As well as 2 decks you get the character counters and a handful of damage counters. The artwork on the original cards is great, and so is the art here; this time the characters have been drawn by Jake Parker, so it adds a bit of variety to the art style. I couldn't speak highly enough of the original game, which is why I bought this one. You could feasibly just buy this and play as a 2 player game, but to get the most enjoyment you should get both!

Fun for kids and adults
Brilliant game! It’s one of our go to games for the kids but adults will definitely enjoy this. Would suggest getting all the expansions to give far more variety.

Really fun but cards were slightly damaged
I love this expansion, really interesting monsters. Unfortunately all my cards were slightly bended on the side which is a shame

Greatest game for me and my family
Simply put it is a fantastically great game, I bought both expansions for it and my 8 year old plays it almost every night. The game play flows nicely. The rules are very easy to learn. You can play different characters in your own way strategy wise. It is great for travelling. Just be careful of loosing the little markers, but if you do you can use anything of similar size without any problems.

Just the most fun game ever
Played at a friends house and immediately bought it for myself. Played the base game 2 player and as a group and its a different game everytime you play it (as long as you're fun and you change decks every game). I take it with me anytime I go to a friends house now because its incredibly easy to learn, fast paced, wildly fun, and theres no skill advantage to the game. Anyone can win regardless of experience so even the most casual players or people who never play card/board games have the same chance of winning as those with experience. Recently played a few games 1v1 with a friend who had never played and after 6 games we had each won 3 times. atm this is my favorite game to play with friends. Only problem I have is the fact that the base game comes with a container that has enough slots for the expansion decks but they still make you purchase those decks seperately. There should be a version availiable with all the decks in one purchase rather than buying the base game then 2 expansions packs. In one sense if you're on a budget this design allows you to break up your purchases and buy them later on when you have the money to afford the expansion packs rather than dropping all the money at once. On the other hand its pretty annoying for someone like me who didn't realize this until after I got home with the base game I had bought from a local comic shop and then realized i only had half the decks. Because my comic shop didnt have the expansions I then had to wait several days in order to obtain the full game.
