Alison Raffaele Face Forward Primer, Acne Response, 1-Ounce Bottle

I am totally hooked on this brand now...the primer, foundation & concealer as well as the powder. Makeup looks great for most of the day, less touch ups. Doesn't make me break out and I have very sensitive skin. Highly recommend this! My make-up artist (also make-up artist to the stars), used this on me, and I've been hooked ever since.

I know that sometimes using "acne" products can make you break out more in the beginning, but this product has caused me more breakouts than I'd care for. I had changed nothing in my diet or skin care, except this primer, and had lots of deep, painful pimples coming out, for weeks.

...unfortunately, not quite what I was looking for--it still leaves my ultra-combo skin a bit shiny despite the claims. Love the texture and the bang-for-the-buck, however (it lasts a long, long time). I expect that many will really find that this is appealing and useful for makeup, just not a hard-hitting acne product.

I've been using risk for over a year and absolutely love it. I would say that over the past year I've used it 75% and I'm still on the first bottle. I bought a 2nd a couple weeks ago just to make sure I don't run out. It's incredibly light weight. Works extremely well under lotion or as a slight moisturizer itself. And it is truly great at preventing breakouts. Since I have started using it I have had one stint of more than 3 pimples. Otherwise I haven't had more than 10 pimples total over the past year! Really really fantastic product. One of the few things I've actually written a review for.

Alison Raffaele's Acne Response primer is amazing. It goes on smoothly and protects skin with the added SPF while also making skin feel and look flawless. It is packed with great ingredients and has no parabens, dyes, or other yucky ingredients. The primer is colorless and odorless, so it doesn't interfere with the rest of your routine, and a little goes a long way (so even though it seems that this may have a steep price tag, it is well worth it - you will get lots of use out of this little tube). This primer evens out skin to make it smooth and conceal any wrinkles, but works best under a tinted moisturizer or foundation. It is light, not greasy, keeps my skin clear, and has become a daily essential for me.
