do you stand this iron up when you are done using it or does it stay laying down?

No. Iron stays flat. I added a silicone iron pad under the metal holder to prevent over heating on the ironing table. It gets really hot!

where is this manufactured?

It’s made in Korea. I’ve used this model for many years, at my sewing school. My students adore this iron.

Why My iron is leaking water from the hose connector to iron?

Make sure the silver spring is over the connection on iron and hose.
