Does this have to be dissolved or can you just swallow it?

You allow it to dissolve in your mouth. It has a pleasant, mildly sweet taste. I crack it with my teeth to allow it to dissolve more quickly. It takes about 30 seconds. My functional medicine doctor recommended this brand.
