Mudder 100 Pcs Pin Backs Locking for Pin Keepers Locking Clasp with Wrench

I bought these for some of the heavier pins I own. I had lost a couple of heavier pins already because the backings they had were not sturdy enough for the weight of the pin (lost a Disney pin and a couple pins from places I’ve traveled- loss of about $50). I placed one of these locking backings on this pin I have on my purse. It has stayed on for the past few months and is still tight and secure. So glad I purchased these as now I know I won’t ever another valuable pin! This purchase was definitely worth the cost.

I'm gonna start off by saying that I never write reviews as I find them tedious to write and just something I can't be bothered with BUT I am an avid review reader!! If I'm buying something off Amazon I count on people who write reviews to help a sistah out lol...... So it's high time I start to write some and help others in return. I adore pins!! I always have, and approaching 40 in a few short weeks here I don't see that changing anytime soon so I needed to find a way to stop losing them and them literally snapping off from the actual "pin" part which to me is tragic because some of the pins I have/had aren't easy to find at all. I went in the hunt for the best way to keep them on my backpack and I first found the ones that you pull on the little stropper and pop it on and it's supposed to lock on there until you pull the stopper to take it off, well they didn't work!! I was losing pins off my backpack left and right!! Then I got the normal ones that kind of have like butterfly wings and you squeeze them to take it off and on... Wellllll those were extremely short lived and literally wouldn't stay on at all!! I was looking at pin purses and backpacks and giving up because I didn't want to lose anymore and I have some really special ones headed to me right now that I can't ever lose!! So I researched yet again and found these. Not gonna lie I didn't have high hopes but WOW they are EXACTLY what I needed and what I was looking for all along!! NOT 1 PIN FELL OFF MY BAG ALL DAY TODAY!! I was putting at least 5 or 6 back on every day and I was seriously about to just take them off but man am I glad I found these!! They literally lock them into place. You get what looks like a little allen key and a tiny little black screw and then the pin back and all you have to do is pop the screw onto the end of that allen key and put the line back on and then put the screw in the side of the pin back and tighten it down and you're good to go. They aren't moving!! Who ever came up with this idea is a freaking GENIUS!! Thanks so much for saving my pins and keeping my creative, wity, fun and punny side of me front and center on my bag. If you aren't looking for a way to keep your pins on something don't waste money on anything else like I did and just buy these. You can thank me later lol. Also I just put some in a little plastic container that I had and I'm keeping them in my backpack just incase I buy a new pin and I'm out.... That way it'll be safe and sound.

I go to a lot of conventions and have found myself now having quite a lot of pin in my collection some od which I have spent a lot of money on. I don't want to lose any of them and someone had recommended I loom into these types of locking clasps. They are fantastic and have kept so many of my pins safely secured to my jackets, hats, and back pack. The are smaller then the normal pin backs which I think is nice. The only thing I will say is a little difficult is getting the screw part into the little clasp but ive found thay if I get half a twist in before putting the cap on the pin its so much easier. I will also note that with some of my longer pins, that if im attaching them to something with a thin material the tip of the point might poke out of them. My solution for that has been to add an additional bit of fabric so it isn't scrape me. Ive only had to do that to a very thin jacket however. Over all these work great and have help up for a good while, being tested at conventions, concerts, and work and haven't lost a pin yet. Absolutely recommend.

Was looking at finding a way to have my pins stay on my patch and pin Jacket better. Some of my pins are a bit pricey. Don’t want to lose them when I go out. AWESOME idea! This is the ONLY way to go. Would give it six stars if I could for the right idea for the right job!

These pin backs seem to lock on securely and hold well. The screws come separate, so you do have to install them yourself, which takes a little bit of time. Once they’re put together though, they work just the way they should. Overall, good quality for the price, especially if you need a lot of them. Not fancy, but they get the job done.

There are so many of these! They hold great, they could stand to be a little longer as the tip of the pin back still tends to poke out a little. The design is great, though I wish the grub screws came pre-installed. They're easy to install and remove as long as you can keep up with the allen wrench (the pack comes with a few). I haven't had any pins come loose, so I'd say they're secured pretty well and this functions exactly as it should!

They actually work.

I love these things. Keep everything exactly where it’s supposed to be and don’t have to worry about losing anything on a ride. I check them periodically just to see if they’re loosening up at all and they never are. I put a couple thousand miles a month on my bike, mostly at high speeds, and they do exactly what they’re supposed to. I also liked that they came in smaller packages with the install tool included so I didn’t have to dig through my toolbox to find the right size. Easy.

Amazing! Keeps my pins safe. Quick and easy to tighten to secure, quick and easy to loosen if you want to rearrange your pins.

Some reviews were saying these didn't tighten up enough, they probably didn't have the set screw in properly they work great. My vest is thick so the short ones work perfectly without the pins coming through the top, also can't feel them when the vest is on.....if you have pins I recommend getting these.

Die geilste Erfindung, seit es Schrauben gibt! Hält bombastisch, endlich keine Pins mehr verlieren. Dass das kleine Gewinde eine Spielerei sein kann ist klar, aber genau das will man ja --> kleine Teile die halten. Zum Größenvergleich im Foto auch der alte Dreck in Gold. Da ich so ein Teil wohl nie verlieren werde, werde ich die 100 kaum verbrauchen, aber falls doch, kaufe ich sie wieder!
