Solid lock and very easy to install!

The privacy hook was easy to install, solidly constructed, with a clean look. I it looks like it's built to last, and finished well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on "Durability" instead of 5 is that I had to use my own screw anchors. The catch mounts solidly directly into the barn door with the supplied screws. However, the hook portion has the same screws as the catch portion but came without anchors. In our case it was mounted in drywall, and installing with only the provided hardware would have resulted in the hook portion pulling loose from the wall over time. I highly recommend using two screw anchors - the result is a solid-latching privacy hook.

This is a very decorative and heavy duty well made hook and eye latch highly recommended.
