Flashlight is bulky and heavy but very bright
I had a hard time fitting this on my lineman's hardhat. It fits best on a standard hardhat with a sound muff slot. It makes either hardhat I tried it on heavy on one side so I'm thinking of purchasing another to even out the weight. The light is VERY bright, and I'm satisfied with its operation. If you've ever been in a facility when all lights go out, this is the light to have.

Extremely bright.
I got this for my fire helmet, but I couldn't get it to fit my bunker helmet, so I used it for my wild land helmet and it works great. The only down side is you shine your light right in people's eyes when your out at night using it. I wish there was a way to pivot it down and up.

Beware of the switch.
I was excited to purchase this. I am a member of a Community Emergency Rescue Team and wanted this for my hard hat. The mount system worked great. The flashlight switch failed out of the box. It wouldn't cycle and turn the light off. I couldn't afford this given its use so I returned it.

So far so good.
No complaints so far. Haven't used the hardhat attachment but the flashlight itself is really bright. Don't know the durability yet as I haven't dropped or knocked it around yet.
