I’ve been using the Air Relax Recovery Boots regularly for the past few weeks, and overall I’m impressed with them. These compression boots are designed to help improve circulation, reduce muscle soreness and fatigue, and support recovery after intense workouts or long days on your feet. They feel well-made and comfortable, with a solid medical-grade feel to the material and pump system that some cheaper versions don’t have.

A MIRACLE device regarding the Air-Relax. BEST product on the market especially the LOW price provided. NOT all cuffs are as powerful as AIR RELAX -- these are 230 mm Hg while many are substandard at 110 mm Hg. My friend paid $1,400 and they are the same as my cuffs. MY STORY: l was within 16 points of needing kidney dialysis. When you have blood work -- look for your GFR, BUN, and Creative Clearance scores as these are kidney lab tests. For my age I should have a GFR of 85. My GFR was 31 which puts me at the bottom of stage 3 kidney disease 2 points away from stage 4 kidney disease. Stage 5 is a GFR of 15. A LOW GFR is like putting cement in a washing machine. Dialysis is done at GFR of 15. After 6 months of daily use of AIR RELAX treatments my kidney doctor told me I no longer needed to see him. My kidneys are cured. I was on the highest dose of blood pressure drugs and gradually he reduced the blood pressure drugs to 40 milligrams 20 milligrams 10 milligrams and then he told me to go off entirely as my BP was consistently 85/65. No blood pressure drugs, my kidneys are perfect, and my blood pressure is perfect. I'm very happy. I have a huge medical background of teaching anatomy & physiology and pharmacology, also a nurse, and sold the entire cardiology and cholesterol drugs, Merck & CO Pharmaceuticals. The blood pressure is controlled by kidney function. If your kidneys are not working properly then your blood pressure goes Higher and Higher! Which means your kidneys are not filtering all of the toxins out of your blood. I just had surgery and you need blood to heal so used my AIR RELAX cuffs. In fact every single cell in your body needs a good blood supply. Go to YouTube and search EECP kidneys or EECP heart failure. There are 750 major hospitals such as John Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic that using these SAME cuffs to increase blood .circulation. This is like jump starting your car only you're jump starting your kidneys, heart, blood flow, preventing leg cramps. If you have any heart disease this is the same method used to treat heart failure. The heart failure clinics use the similar cuffs that pump at 280 and these cuffs at the highest setting is in the 230 range. WOW!! It's like the best foot & leg massage ever! Also is considered a non-surgical "heart bypass." Pushing the blood up creates collateral arteries in the heart. Think of a river tha has a sudden down pour of rain -- the river over glows and creates tributaries. Vollah! Prevents macular degeneration because of the added blood flow through the very small arterioles that provide blood to the eye that has obstructed due to plaque. Get a $50 test called 'Coronary Calcium Artery Score' this test will tell you precisely the health of your heart. I had a low cholesterol score of 140 and a calcium score of 631. The best score is '0' -- all presidents have to have this test and all astronauts have to have a '0' score. Watch the documentary 'Widow Maker' on Netflix etc. Additionally, there not a better solution for Lymphodemia. Oh yes, we could go on and on with prevention and treatment. February 2017 my kidney doctor said 'Marcia, you do not need to see me any longer.' ZERO blood pressure drugs after using the cuffs an hour a day for 6 months. I was taking higher and higher doses OVER a span of 25 years. The day my new frolic just told me I did not need to come back my blood pressure was 127/65. WOW!! I'm happy the air relax has saved my life! One final point: my cardiologist did a stress test 6 months after a started the AIR RELAX cuffs and he said, " Marcia, you crushed this test. If all my patients did this well, I'd be poor!"

Absolutely amazing. Very easy to use with several modes. It has been very beneficial in helping me recover after exercising. The high level of compression is great in helping with pain relief. I would highly recommend these boots over others.

Recently bought and used several times at the clinic with my athletes. I am a Physical Therapist by profession. I wanted to give this brand a try as it was more cost effective compared to Normatec. The materials appear to be durable and the unit is easy to move around. It is lightweight, but doesn't come with a carrying bag. The cord comes attached to the boot, so sometimes there's a bit of unwinding to do before getting someone into the boot. Not a deal breaker. Since I began using, the unit has worked well. It comes with guided instructions about the level of compression to use and under which circumstances to use each. The higher levels provide a really strong compression compared another unit I had in the past. So far, my athletes love it and they seem to recover well after tough training workouts, along with using their other tools for recovery.

I am a 50 year old female who underwent a complete right hip replacement (arthroplasty) on May 31, 2018. I suffer from osteoarthritis and at the time of surgery had almost full impingement, meaning that there was zero cartilage between the head of my femur and my hip cup... in other words, think of a pestle grinding away in a guacamole mortar. Yep, it's as bad and as painful as it sounds. There are very few treatments and no cure. Surgery was the only option and is pretty intense. I found the Sequential Compression Device by Air Relax on Amazon about a week before my surgery. I knew that they would be using something similar in the hospital post surgery to prevent DVT (which is also in my family) so I seriously considered it. I did some research, talked to some people that I knew had undergone this surgery and was kinda shocked that no such device had been recommended for short term recovery at home. I spoke with my surgeon about it and he said he'd never heard of it, but it could help with swelling so I choked back the gag reflex at the price and purchased it. And believe me, post surgery, there is wicked swelling! I felt like I had a size 14 leg in a size 8 skin suit! The first couple of nights, I used the device on the lowest setting and the peristaltic mode. It was pleasant, soothing and engendered an overall sense of calm and relief. I was still on pain killers at the time so that may have had something to do with it. But my goal was to be totally opioid free in the first two weeks after getting home. I used it for only 30 minutes and continued to use it each night and after every home physical therapy work out I did for the next three weeks which brings me to today: I am pain-killer free - zero use of any opioids My swelling is not totally gone, especially as I increase my physical therapy sessions, but I have ankles and knees again instead of cankles and thees. There is zero joint pain, which has me absolutely flabbergasted. I am giddy with glee. Just go ask anyone you know who has lived with chronic, unfleeting severe pain for over a year and they will tell you what that does to you. Your brain chemistry changes, the depression is dark, wet and heavy and unthinkable thoughts are an arms length away at all times. At three weeks out, yes, I still have surgical pain as my 6 inch incision continues to heal but I gladly embrace it as a sign of healing and the glimmer of hope for a normal life. My mobility and range of motion are well above average as of my first post surgical exam. I credit the Air Relax for this almost 100%. I use it at night before I go to sleep for 30 minutes only (never sleep with the sleeves on), I sleep completely through the night and wake in the morning with some stiffness and pain, but that is gone after a few vigorous therapy movements and there is no swelling from overnight. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. I know that I have a long way to go before I am back to where I was prior to the onset of this condition. I still have trouble bending over and there are movements and situations that I simply cannot do. I am also very aware that I am still in the most precarious time for new joint dislocation so I am very conscious of every move I make and I follow my doctor's and therapist's instructions to a tee. But this simple but expensive machine has helped me far more than I could ever imagine. I would urge anyone to talk to their surgeon or doctor about this product.

I bought the air relax AR 2 professional compression boots while training for a 36 hour endurance event. I would put these on after every workout and before I went to sleep. Whether my workout was 45 minutes or eight hours, after using the compression boots, it reduced muscle fatigue. I usually run them through two to three cycles. I would often use similar ones at places that I would get massages. Then I decided to buy my own. You can’t beat the air relax Quality, and the price is amazing. I love having them at home and can use them anytime I want. I’m no longer training for those long hours, but I still use them several times a week. I think it helps with muscle fatigue, circulation, and just overall make your legs feel amazing and recovered.The motor is not super quiet, but definitely not loud. I usually watch TV or work on my computer at night when I have them on. Overall I would give this product 5 stars. Unlike some things on the market that I buy and regret afterwards, this is not one of them!

Wow! I love these... I had used Normatek boots for the first time several weeks ago and immediately knew that recovery boots were going to be a splurge in my near future to continue making headway after a couple of injuries. The Normatek price tag was simply too much for me to bite off, and the Air-Relax reviews I read gave me enough confidence to give them a try. The Air-Relax boots seem comparable to the Normatek's with a couple of minor differences. First, the Air-Relax boots do fit slightly smaller and are more manageable than the enormous Normatek boots made for giants and pro football players apparently -- but still plenty of room for me. Also maybe just a slight difference in the weight of boot fabric, but with no noticeable effect on the experience or overall quality. From my perspective, the experience is identical. In fact, the Air-Relax boots have one higher pressure setting than what I recall being available on the Normatek boots. I have tried it and still too strong for me now, but happy to know I have something to work into as my injuries improve. Just really love the Air-Relax boots. The price point differential made this an easier decision for me. However, given the effect, they are giving me in healing from a knee injury and a severely beaten up shin, I am glad to have pulled the trigger. Have used twice a day since they arrived two weeks ago and my ability to train, and simply walk around more freely, and with less pain after a stubborn injury that slowed me down the past 18 months, is at last manageable. They arrived two days earlier too, which was a neat surprise too. For me a great product. If you have used recovery boots in the past - and like me moved almost immediately into recovery boot withdrawal phase,... you will not be sorry purchasing this much more affordable solution for home or personal use.

Excellent recovery system that’s reasonably priced. I’m an athlete that uses them to help my legs recover for the next tough session & it’s incredible how good you feel. Portable system also so you can travel with it. A must if you can afford it.
