I was sad when the valve on my backpack broke and I thought I had to buy a new backpack when I can just buy the bells. Easy installment

I ordered this to replace a leaky bit valve that was a few years old, probably just degraded with time and heat. It was dribbling on me out of the pack, I was trying to be "careful" with it's angle while hiking - that's annoying. I didn't need a new water backpack, nor a new 2L bladder, I just needed a bite valve. I removed the old one with pliers, then twisted this new one into the same tube. This one is a bit different, as it requires pulling open. On testing, it's easily done with my teeth, feels like a more secure seal (no dribbles anymore!), AND it has a cover which I will appreciate hiking in the desert, because eww, dusty bite valve... PERFECT SOLUTION.

I’m one of those people who has a lot of trouble keeping her bladder nipple clean. This solved the problem. It comes easily off and on, and the valve works great—better than the original valve on my Platypus bladder. The liquid flows freely. The only issue was that the connector stem broke after a few days, so I have to be careful not to drop it. Otherwise, I can’t live without it.

Got this to replace the original mouth piece on a new camel. The bent angle is much more comfortable to use. The dust cap is a great feature, but the connecting line broke way too easily. I actually bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my girl friend. The connecting line broke on both after just a few uses. Neither of us used excessive pressure on it. We are still able to use it, works fine in every way. We just now have to be careful not to lose the cap since it is no longer connected.

I used this to replace a leaky mouthpiece on a water bladder of a different brand after buying a water bladder of this brand and liking the mouthpiece. It was easily compatible and works well.

Leaks from the base. Faulty product.

Bite valve works great, doesn't leak. Dust cover opens valve when taken off and closes valve when put back on. Fits the tubes from the old model Osprey Hyraform packs. Osprey has changed the tube diameter, and no longer sells any parts to supple the old style packs. Fortunately, this valve fits perfectly.

This replacement piece was easy and quick to install

My last valve broke at the valve this design does away with the elbow valve and has a better bite valve. Easy installation and easier to clean
