Yes, these are just large enough for 8 and 9 year olds to comfortably use.

Are these large enough for 4th graders (9-10)?

I have them for my 2nd graders. (7-8) They work well with them. 3 rd graders could use them, maybe 4th.

Are these too big for kindergarteners?

Not at all! The reading phones would fit kindergarteners easily.

How do these compare to tubaloos?

My favorite is the “Lakeshore Hear Myself Sound Phone.” It well-made and goes through the heat of the dishwasher mush better than the “A+ Assets Reading Whisper Phones.”
