Easy to understand and a great reference for young people...and older people who did not pay attention in school...lol

I use this book in my Sophomore Government Class as a resource. I have produced some guided reading type assignments for it that we do about twice a week. The kids like the graphical design. IGWT t 2026

I purchased this for a 9 weeks American government course I'm teaching in my middle school classroom. I have found this book to be very practical and easy to understand, while giving students a good visual and helping me as the instructor move through the topics of our government. This book covers the solid basic principals of how our government functions at the federal, state, and local levels; while also giving an overview of our founding, which greatly influenced how our government is organized. It's been perfect for our 9 weeks rotational class.

Excellent book! In times like these I find myself looking for FACTS and this book is a great American History refresher!

Great entry level civics for all ages Simple drawings help make remembering easy. Highly recommended to help educate our elected officials who mostly think their power is the most important political outcome as opposed to how they represent us
