people complain about silly things. the usb cord sticks out? really? personally I love this ps4 stand. I've had it for a month and it works great. all I needed was a basic vertical stand to save space, so this is a good 3-in-1 deal for me. the fan is about as loud the ps4 internal fan when it kicks on, it isn't bad, I don't even notice or hear it over the tv. they're well-powered fans also, any more power and the sound of them would probably be too loud. I haven't heard the internal fan kick on so it seems to be doing it's job well. the best part is the stand itself isn't powered, so it doesn't use up an outlet on the already crowded entertainment center. it plugs into the usb on your ps4 and turns on with the console. really, if I had to say something negative... the usb ports on the front could be better. I love that it has 3 usb slots, but my charge cable doesn't plug into them all the way. so I'll think it's charging while I'm playing, then see that my controller is almost dead. I have to use them tho, since I have a 4tb expansion drive, I don't have a free plug in. not a big deal though. UPDATE: 4 months later, and the motor is obviously going out already. It makes a horrendous noise on starting up that doesn't go away. for a few days unplugging it and plugging it back in stops the noise, but now that no longer works. Perhaps the company will offer an exchange?? I'll update my review if so. UPDATE #2: I contacted kootek and they responded immediately and sent out a new unit the next day. still a happy customer. would buy again just because of the excellent customer service. thanks!

I highly recommend this stand it works incredible the fan isn't to loud and isn't really necessary anyway as long as u clean out the dust from the sides of your PS4 on a regular basis I've seen so many people on these reviews talk about their PlayStation getting loud as the reason they bought this stand and the actual solution is dust off and a thorough cleaning of all the side slots where air goes in but regardless of the fans the two controller chargers on the side are awesome the extra USB slots are awesome and it comes with 8 grips u can try out on your controller they are far from incredible grips like Montreal creek but all of this for 15 bux is a great deal mine came fully functional with zero issues if I have future problems I will update this review but so far for 15 dollars I couldn't be happier I got two new PS4 controllers a nice new stand an extra cooling fan extra USB slots and I paid about the price u would pay for a single higher quality PS4 charging chord I'd say this is a great deal!

This unit is great at keeping your PS4 cooler and preventing heating shutdowns. It does that one specific function quite well and also looks very clean and nice. It also has additional usb ports which are very handy and can be used to charge a variety of other things as well. The only thing that is slightly disappointing is the controller charging stations. They do work but you must make certain that the controllers click in just right which should be an easier task than it is. It would help if they had put lights in to show that the chargers have been placed just right in their bays for the charging to actually be taking place. You can hear a click and think you got it right only to find out your controller hasn't been charging at all. There is a faint yellow light you can see from your controller if it is in correctly but seeing that you place them in upside to charge the unit all but obscures the light completely. Overall though I paid twenty dollars for this unit from Amazon and it has been as advertised. I do enjoy it a lot aside from the charging station but that is not the main reason for this purchase. Overall I give this product a B grade and think it is worth the twenty I paid but not the whole 60 it is retailed at.

This product fits my ps4 slim perfectly. For what I plan to use it for, it works quite well. Some notable factors that may affect your purchase include: 1. While it it is well built, this product does not look like it would last long around small children who are going to knock it off the shelf and other activities of the sort. 2. As you can see in my picture, the USB Hub spots will work with bluetooth dongles for wireless headsets, however, it did not work with my extended storage. The hubs are connected to the console, yes. But I do not believe they can transfer data fast enough for extended storage. Also, similar to the ps4, the USB slots do not put out a ton of power so don't expect to charge large electronic devices (very quickly) with these inputs. 3. The controller charging ports work just fine and the controllers fit quite well into their spots, but again, I will add that they do not look like they will last long if you plan on roughly pulling the controllers from their spots. 4. The fans below do not give out a huge amount of air. This is alright if you don't plan on putting your ps4 in a closed in area. Warmer environments may require a larger output of air. All that being said, I am a college student who moves his console around quite a bit. As long as you are careful with your electronic devices (as you should be) and keep the ps4 in an open environment (meaning not inside a closed cabinet) then this product will be perfect. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a convenient addition to their ps4.

It is the first time that I purchased a cooling fan for my console. After a few hours of playing on the PS4 slim, I don’t hear the fan from the console so the fan must be doing its job. I do hear the cooling fan itself but it’s not bad. The console still feels warm but not the way it used to without the fan. It has two places to charge controllers which comes in handy. It also has ports to charge other electronics. The item is guaranteed for a year from purchase. If it breaks down within a year, the company that made the product will replace it. There is information to contact customer service for any questions or problems. Also, I would buy from this seller again. It’s a good price and it was delivered within 3 days. Edit - I have this product for a couple weeks now. The fans sound like they’re working hard to cool down the system. I decided to follow advice of another person that bought this item. He suggested to place four 3/4 in felt pads underneath to get more airflow. I did that and now the fans seem normal. The PS4 slim seems cooler with them on than with them off. Now, after a couple weeks, I give this product a solid 3. This is only because the item needs to improve its airflow and should be taken care of so you don’t need to modify it.

Update&Revision: Their customer service is great and very prompt - return/refund or replacement was a "no hassle" process. They were on their A-game for sure. They did send me a "upgraded" PS4 stand; but the upgraded version was the exact same thing with an added CD holder (although everything is pretty much digital game wise these days). Still no airflow at all. It doesn't produce enough to cool the console at all. So I still stand by my original statement -DO NOT waste your time - If you're looking to buy this as a simple stand for your PS4 - it works great. Otherwise - not so much. The main purpose for my purchase was because of the fans; to call them "cooling" fans would be a lie. The fans spin, so they are powered but there is 0.00 (ZERO) airflow; so its not cooling anything. Also, charging docks either charge extremely slow or not at all; for me it did not charge at all when i tried it. after 4 hours on the dock - it went from 1 bar to 1 bar on the charge. Luckily i have an awesome charging dock already and that wasn't the reason for the purchase or else I would have been stuck with a dead controller. Like i said - it works great as a stand though.

It’s a good product; controllers charge correctly and fans are quiet but there is one big issue. The USB ports of the stand don’t work well with Bluetooth USB conectors. For example Guitar Hero USB Receiver or USB Receiver for Wireless Headsets. External Drives don’t work too. They all need to connect directly to the PS4 but because the stand uses one to be functional, you only have one USB port left to use. UPDATE: I was contacted by Kootek and offered me a refund. Great detail from them. Every company needs to be like them, supporting and offering help to their customers. I found a workaround for the stand to work with my setup. Just need to connect the USB from the stand to a USB adapter and voala. Works perfectly and can connect my drive and headset directly to the PS4.

Me gustó mucho, principalmente mi punto es usarlo para cargar los controles, es cuestión de acostumbrarme para acomodarlos pero se ajustan muy bien, y el ventilador no hace ruido.

Los materiales son buenos, y llegó antes de lo esperado. Sin embargo, los ventiladores (lo más importante) fueron de muy baja potencia. Literalmente, tuve que pegar mi mejilla para sentir el aire que ventilan.
