Big tapioca as the way to go
I loved it.

1/10, don’t buy
No cooking instructions. Pearls melted into gelatin puddle when cooking, not retaining their shape. Product contains cancer warning in back not pictured.

YUMMY
Can't find this in food stores. Takes a little prep but WORTH IT!

Don’t soak too long
Well- these pearls do tend to disintegrate faster than other pearls. They do not come with instructions. Since tapioca pearls are so different in structure, they should all come with instructions. I have found that if these pearls are rinsed well to start, soaked for about 30 minutes, and then cooked until they are nearly translucent-10 to 20 minutes or so - they will hold up in a pudding and provide nice chewy pearls. Some will fall apart, but enough will be in tact.

Disaster
Whatever recipe I followed I got the same results, chewy, gummy, terrible texture, a complete disaster for me.

Pressure cooker method
We got these for bubble tea at home. Definitely utilize the pressure cooker method detailed by several other reviewers - 6 cups boiling water, 40 minutes on high. I actually had to let mine sit on warm after for a bit to be fully cooked, but hands down has to be pressure cooker (no pre rinse) for maintaining the integrity of the product and having good chewy texture. The ONLY boba I could find anywhere that was this size AND had clean ingredients. Top notch!!!

Terrible tapioca
This is very terrible. This product is extremely bad. I spent 30 minutes boiling it and it was still raw. I would not recommend buying this product.

Using for sensory activity
Had to boil these for a while to achieve the gelatinous form—probably between 20-40 minutes. No instructions on the bag—definitely would help. They didn’t have a smell and take to dye well. Perfect for sensory activity in place of the toxic water beads. Wish the bag was bigger my toddler loves these and will be buying again.

takes forever to cook
This tapioca takes forever to cook. Running boil for 45 minutes, then waiting another 45 minutes, and it’s still not fully cooked. It’s honestly very expensive compared to the ones you can buy at Asian stores for under $5 for a 14 oz bag.

It dissolved
Okay so maybe it was the recipe not sure but thought I’d just send out this warning. My recipe called to soak the tapioca for 2 hours. I did this… and I’d say 2/3rds of the tapioca turned to mush. The other 1/3 remained intake so I’m not sure what could be the cause of this. The pearls that fell apart were almost peeling apart in layers. Weird. Anyways for anyone that’s interested that’s what happened to me.
