Great for the price
The only problem that I have found is some of the tape was uncovered in shipping and does not work. But I am screwing them in so it does not matter to me

worked great and was much cheaper then Nexx
I purchased this set because it was a great price and I didn't feel like paying $20 for just one magnet sensor for my Nexx wifi garage opener. I got this item in today. I quickly cut the old wire that went to the nexx sensor. Twisted the wires together, added a little solder. Then I finished the job up with some heat shrink wrap. Works like a cramp now! I didn't need all 10 sensors but I figured if the original nexx sensor went out. Then over time this one would probably give out too, so with an extra 9 on hand. I no longer have to worry about it.

THESE ARE N.O. SWITCHES
THESE ARE N.O. SWITCHES. These are labeled N.C. but are actually N.O. switches which is exactly what I needed. I took a chance because the description describes a N.O. switch. When the magnet is close, the switch will close. When you move the magnet away, the switch will open. Pretty common for a "fail safe" circuit for alarms. Seems like gpod quality and they do work. I would have given them a 5 star rating if the description was correct.

Switches themselves are NO, not NC
Heads up these switches themselves are actually NO (normally open) switches, not NC (normally closed). I believe the reason they're labeled NC is that during normal operation (door closed), the magnet is right next to the sensor, in which case the switch is closed.

Ten for the price of one
Needed a reed switch for my garage door automation (goodbye MyQ!) and this pack was the same price as one switch from my local shop. They're simple switches, so wasn't expecting any problems, and I was not disappointed. Now I just need to find nine other projects..

Works good
Works great for low-voltage alarms are controls

High failure rate
Used these on a gate. After 4 months they go bad and no longer switch. Luckily 10 come in a package so replacement was quick. But it failed again. Look elsewhere for something that is more reliable.

These are not normally closed (N/C) switches
They normally closed magnetic switch allows electricity to flow when it's not near a magnet. This is useful for things such as door and window alarms that run on battery power. The transmitter is powered off when the magnet is near the switch, and powers on when the magnetic contact is broken, so it can then send the signal that the door is open. This allows it to conserve battery power. These switches allow current flow when the switch is near the magnet. For a door or window switch this means your circuit board is drawing current the whole time the door window is closed. That also means your batteries will last about 2 days at the most. These are actually normally open (N/O) switches. When magnetic contact is broken they allow current to flow so you can control lights with a door being opened. They function for what they really are, so I am giving them three stars. I'm removing two stars from a five-star review because now I have to take the time to ship them back.
