Edloe Finch Mid-Century Modern Pink Velvet Sofa, Blush

This couch is beautiful! I think the color is very true to picture and it just looks like it has so much quality. I was warned against online furniture purchases, but I'm very, very glad that I made this one. I've had the couch for a month now, and have no complaints. The couch was super easy to assemble (by myself too!), but just attaching the legs and tipping it over. The couch is light, but not so light that it moves around my wood floors if I move on it. I could tip it easily, but I wouldn't be able to lift it myself. The fabric is SO soft, and hasn't pilled or lost it's color in the month I've had it and been using it. The cushions are very nice - firm, but soft and with a little bounce. I've fallen asleep on this couch several times and not had one issue with my back. The length is also perfect - I'm 6ft,and this couch has PLENTY of legroom. It has a nice, wide seat as well, meaning I can lay flat on my back or curled up in a ball without hanging off the edge of the seat. The back is high enough to support your back, and the back cushions are also comfortable and supportive. The armrests are a good height, so as to be supportive when you're sitting, but don't get in the way when laying down. As for delivery, this was a pretty seamless. I ordered the in room delivery. The delivery company chosen by Amazon was late (by about a couple hours), but once there the total move-in time was 15 minutes. The box was essentially the size of the couch without the back cushions or legs, and easily fit through my door. I'll note though that that means it is around 84 inches long, which can be tricky around the corners. The delivery gentlemen were nice and very efficient, and did remind me that they were only there for in room delivery, not for set-up (I think they had gotten requests that day). It was definitely worth the $20. The only complaint I have is with Amazon. When I initially went to order this couch, I put it in my cart in November and the next minute when to complete my purchase, but it had been removed and the couch was out of stock. When I called Amazon to find out what happened (it was so quick!), they were extremely unhelpful. They kept telling me to just order another couch and to comment here about my dissatisfaction with the lack of availability. They could not tell me when the couch would be back in stock (or if it ever would). I was escalated to a supervisor, who "assured" me she would call me back in a week with an update as to what she found about the stock. Shocker, she did not call me back, and Amazon stopped replying to my customer service requests about the issue. I have to say, as a prime member for several years, this was a truly shocking and horrendous customer service experience. Particularly given how much we pay for prime these days. I've noticed the customer service declining recently, particularly with the "guaranteed" delivery date failures happening almost every order, but this was above and beyond that and just a really great lack of caring about the customers needs. In sum - great couch, so wonderful, but probably purchase from a different vendor besides Amazon. You may pay a little more, but you won't have to deal with Amazon's ridiculous lack of customer service. It's available on several of the typical sites, like Wayfair.

Very pretty and stylish couch...looks just as pictured. The microfiber material is very soft. I also love the flat, square arms for setting down my coffee mug for a few moments (probably not the ideal use for it, but it's a habit). The back cushions can be removed for more space, if needed. All of the cushions have medium firmness - there's some give to them, but if you're looking for a plush, cozy napping couch, this isn't the one. One complaint is that this was difficult to assemble in terms of getting the brass legs attached. The holes in the couch didn't seem to line up with the positioning of the legs, so we ended up having to create new holes so the screws could fit through. It turned out fine, it was just annoying. I'm surprised this doesn't seem to be mentioned by other reviewers.

My husband and I searched high and low for a green velvet couch when someone suggested looking online. I thought “no way” because how do you know if it’s the one without sitting on it?! Finally, after months without the green velvet couch of my dreams I decided to take the risk. I actually found this couch first on the supplier’s direct website, but decided to buy through Amazon, so I could return it if it wasn’t absolutely perfect. IT IS PERFECT. First, it’s absolutely beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a true emerald green. It reflects light beautifully. Every pillow, blanket, person looks amazing on this couch. Second, it’s wildly comfortable while still being durable and holding its sleek shape. AND my husband and I both can lay on it together comfortably. The true test for us though was, can it handle four dogs? The dog hair, the slobber, etc. YES, it absolutely can. Dog hair wipes right off with just the palm of your hand. Slobber? A damp cloth and it’s like it was never there. For bigger messes, throw the cushion covers in the wash. They come out looking brand new. There isn’t a single thing I don’t LOVE about this couch. We do rotate seat and back cushions weekly to make sure it gets even wear which it has. I’d buy this couch again and again. It’s so luxurious looking and feeling and it was a breeze to put together. The delivery was top notch too.

This couch is gorgeous! What sold me on this couch was another review about how easy it is to clean. The reviewer said she washed the cushion covers in the washer, I haven’t had to do so yet. But as a single mom with 3 kids and two cats I don’t buy anything that isn’t going to be easy to keep clean. So far all smeared food or cat hair Has whipped up with a damp towel. In fact a quick wipe and it looks brand new. The only thing I’ve worried about is kids accidentally poking a hole in the fabric it doesn’t feel very thick. However, the cushions are all reversible with same fabric on all sides. I did take away a point because it is a firm couch and not a couch you are going to want to take a nap on. I’m kind of sensitive to textures and was worried the fabric would irritate my skin the way most microfiber sofas do, but it doesn’t, I don’t believe it’s real velvet, but the fabric is very soft to the touch and not irritating. It did have a smell from the plastic wrapped around it at delivery but it quickly went away. This room is our entry room to our home. I wanted something beautiful to see when we arrive home, but since I work from home and love the natural light of this room, it is used as a work space and where the kids practice dance, piano, violin & we do homework. It makes my heart happy to have this beautiful new addition to my home & favorite room. We all love it!
