It is what it is, a low priced imported version at less than half the cost. The finish was excellent, the welds were smooth & even. The fit wasn’t perfect but I expected as much. One little tweak on the vice & it went on, no problem. Here’s a tip; anytime you install anything with multiple bolts, just get them all started then add thread lock one at a time, then tighten with a wrench once they’re all hand tight. Also, read the description. It says no instructions included. You really don’t need them.

Alignment took patience and you definitely have to muscle the screws/bolts into the proper alignment. Once they are in, it's very sturdy. The only iffy part is the middle bar in the front across the frame. It's an incredibly tight fit and extra 8MMx 16cm bolts had to be bought to fit this. Took it on a ride and everything felt great and was sturdy. I had to move my pegs to the middle instead of extended reach, strictly because it hits a fuse on the abs brake. A few washers would have solved the issue, but I wanted stability.

The price for these crash bars were the biggest incentive. It took a bit to figure out how to install them and the lack of instructions (explicitly stated in the item description) along with the 3 different sets of screws made it a bit of a puzzle. The bars I ordered for the Vulcan 650 and, thankfully, I managed to find a video that gave me a general idea of the placement. I had to remove some cover pieces to attach the bars effectively. The bars themselves are matte black and came well wrapped for shipping - I did my best not to scratch them. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the price point and quality so far.

Do yourself a favor and don't make the mistake I did and buy this! As seen from the illustration I received these highway engine guards for my 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan S and this one piece of paper I received with a note about having to modify the highway bar on the right side by having to bend it in a vice to make it fit! (Really!!, really!?) So in attempt to follow the directions and give this company a chance. I did attempt to bend the portion of the right highway bar as instructed., and it still will not fit, and now I'm past the 30 day return window and besides who wants a half bent highway bar for there bike. Like I said just do yourself a favor and don't even buy these engine guards to begin with. If this company cannot make them to fit the bike properly then please do not sell them!

Wow, that was rough. Worst instructions I've ever seen, some bolts too short. It does function though, seemingly. If they just put the right bolts in there and had some proper instructions, this could easily be a 5 star product. Alignment was difficult. I really want to give this two stars, but the product works. Someone more mechanically inclined definitely could've done it all easier.

Fit good. Bolts could have been a bit longer but they seem to work. Lock nut won't thread up to the threads so if it comes loose I'll be putting a bolt in about 1/8 inch longer. Original peg bolts are almost too short but work. It's not like they get stood on. Great value. good fit. Notice the pic showing that I've got the extended controls. It fit fine but the clutch pedal barely dragged the bar when made to so I put one washer under it. And you'll need a couple of washers for one of the peg bolts to make up the difference of the bar thickness in the front one. 4 nice quality 5/16 (8mm) washers for the pegs and one 3/8 (10 mm) washer for the forward control clutch and everything else works great. I looked closely at the orange bike here in the reviews as he added some very good pics. Hope mine help. A cheap price for bars that might save close to a grand for a dented fuel tank if the bike ever accidentally hits the ground.

The crash bars were fairly easy to install. And that a good thing, because the instructions are a waist of time. Basically, just photos with some writing on top. The writing was in red ink and so tiny they could not be read. Otherwise, the crash bars went on easily and quickly, about 2 hours. We took off more plastic fairing than we need to. The instruction could have helped with that. But that in our only complaint (aside from the useless instructions).

It takes a little patience to install but it fit perfectly and at much lower cost than comparable guards.

Not only did these not fit my Vulcan, when checking to see how to fit the (instructions were just close up photographs and not very clear) they look as those they have been manufactured backwards. The closest I got to fitting them the bars came in towards the knee position, but I could not secure them anyway so returned for a refund.

The install was not complicated, slightly annoying when you don't have small hands, does help having the right tools (I'm a mechanic). Doesn't hurt to have a can of black paint handy as you might get it banged up a little. If you want to make your install simpler, start with the longest bolt going through on top, don't put the nut yet. Reuse the original bolt on the bottom with second longest one from the package. You'll have to muscle it down and forward a little to line up the bottom holes, don't be scared it's like fighting rubber and once you got them in tight you can do the nut for the top. Run in the 2 bolts for the connecting rod before trying to install it, I found the threads in the rod were rusting a little making it tougher to thread the bolts in. The bars are very solid once installed, going to use them to install some extra LED spot lights later. Came with a couple of really small extra screws, no idea what they are for. Also there was a paper in it saying that I might have to bend the right side a little, did not have to on a 2019. I would have no problem buying this again, delivery was fast, install was not too bad.
