Very good quality knife.
This is a fantastic knife. I bought the 10” chefs knife. It’s sharp and has great balance. If you clean it immediately and dry it thoroughly it won’t rust. You should do this with any knife you own. Take good care of it and it will last a very long time.

MAC knives - best blend of Japanese and Western style knives
Super sharp. Wanted 10” chef over the pro line for the thinner more agile blade for softer veggies. I use a 10” Wusthof for harder use. Note this is a stamped blade not forged regardless of what the product information on Amazon says.

A great investment
Fast delivery and came in a very nice box that's almost too beautiful to throw out. On day one of bringing it to work, an ignorant server was going to use it to cut open a box.....after I yelled at her for about a minute, I used it for its real purpose....cutting (duh), and knew immediately this would be my first choice out of my bag for years to come. It's light and strong with the sharp factory edge! Now I need to order a ceramic rod to keep it sexy.

I love this knife , however…
I have wanted this exact Mac knife for a while. I am a prep cook and it is the first knife i used that has a sharp/rigid spine. As I lay the blade on my knuckles to guide my cuts it scrapes my middle knuckles. My only option now is to smooth it out by hand. Other than that this knife is a beauty

Rusts very easily and quickly
The knife started getting spots of rust within a month of using, and the rust development has accelerated since it was originally bought 3 months ago. The knife was always hand-washed, dried, and rested on a dry cloth.

Perfect product, very high quality, It is my second knife, first one was unfortunately broken while knocking a bone and twisting the blade side way... it made a big dent onto the sharp blade, never do that of course. The steel is very very hard to stay sharp and therefore more brittle that a cheap metal. Good delivery, very good supplier.
