I purchased this item for my 9-year-old granddaughter, who has a fondness for the color pink, making it perfect for her girly taste. The only assembly required was setting up the easel. As she is an aspiring young artist, this set is ideal for her. While I’m not sure if it’s considered "fun," she enjoys having her own art supplies. For a serious artist, it may not be "fun" but rather enjoyable, whereas it would be fun for most others. The easel is great for travel, although it isn't very sturdy. However, it works fine for a 9-year-old. For storage, she can simply close it up, and it fits nicely on her desk alongside her other art supplies. This allows her to draw while traveling or just sitting around at home. My granddaughter loves her art set, which comes with plenty of art supplies that should last for quite some time. If necessary, I would be willing to purchase it again, but I hope to only replace items as needed.

It was a perfect gift for a young artist. good quality, easy to assemble, has lots of colors, plus it keeps everything organized and easy to clean up. Worth the money!
