Reliable Outlet Extender for Busy Spaces This GE 6-outlet wall tap has been a great addition for areas where I always seem to run out of outlets. It plugs in securely to a standard 3-prong wall socket, and once in place, it feels stable—no wiggling or shifting, even when I plug in bulkier adapters. The fact that it’s ETL listed gives me confidence in the safety, which matters when you’re stacking multiple electronics into one spot. The spacing isn’t as wide as on a power strip, so if you have oversized plugs, a couple may block neighboring outlets, but for standard plugs it works very well. Loose fitment for my multi port phone charger. I have a 6ft cord that I use for my phone and tablet, as the outlet is right by my couch. If I accidentally tug on the cord a little too much then the charger will easily disconnect from the port. Annoying, yes. Thankfully I just needed the extra outlets for my Christmas lights. For the price, it’s not terrible.

Perfect. Especially the ALMOND, which is hard to find, and works against a variety of wall colors. The included screw has worked effectively, holding the tap to the wall and preventing a few possible problems, at least for my outlets. I was ready to run to the home improvement store to get a longer screw, but fortunately, it wasn't needed. I have ordered a few of these.

Two nice features here: (1) this uses -2- plugs in the back (see below) and (2) has a robust center screw for securely grabbing the outlet. Having 2 rear plugs, this is really 2 sets of 3 outlets. In my bedroom, where the wall switch controls only 1 of the 2 outlets in the nearby wall dual-outlet, this provides 3 outlets that are turned on by the light-switch, and 3 outlets that are always "on". The former 3, when the switch is "on", power the electric blanket and the bedside light (I use it's own switch when going to sleep and upon arising). The latter 3 always power the clock and the cellular charger. Alternative 6-outlet adapters often have a single rear plug with a dummy (plastic) second plug: this precludes their use in my bedroom situation. The robust center screw means you don't have to worry about pulling this out of the wall each time you pull on a power cord - a problem I experienced with a previous unit. You require clearance around this as it is taller and wider that a standard outlet-surround: door or floor moulding might (rarely) pose a problem. Likewise, this width would be incompatible with "ganged" outlets having multiple outlet pairs as in some work environments. . As this uses the standard center-screw of the outlet, the usual outlet cover plate is discarded. The plastic on this isn't overly durable: it seems adequate but a kick night shatter it, if you're into kicking outlets!

I never seem to have enough outlets--particularly with phone chargers, lights, clocks, electric appliances of all sorts. I screw this into an outlet and it becomes a 6-outlet plug from a two outlet plug. That works for 90% of the electrical issues in my older home. Be sure to screw it in (take off the old faceplate). This has a hole in the center and comes with a longer screw to fit where the old faceplate was mounted.

I would not recommend this product. Extender Wall Tap does not have proper grounding pins for each outlet, which raises serious safety concerns. The build quality also feels very cheap. The material is flimsy, and you have to push quite hard to insert plugs, which makes it inconvenient and potentially unsafe to use. Overall, it does not meet the quality and safety standards I expected.

Es muy bueno ya que este paquete son 5 conectores con 6 salidas y funcionan muy bien ya que puedo tener varias cosas conectadas y no hay problemas de sobre carga. Además, es muy fácil de conectar me sirven mucho en mi casa porque puedo conectar varias cosas directo a la pared y así no ocupar una extensión o un multicontacto. Lo único que no me gusto es que mi toma corriente de la pared no cuenta con el orificio en medio para poder colocar el tornillo que trae y esto hace que sea muy fácil de que se desconecte al momento de desenchufar algo que está conectado, siempre lo tengo que sostener para que no pase eso.
