Energizer 1220 Lithium Coin Battery, 1 Pack

I keep this Energizer 2032 Lithium Coin Batteries 6-Pack on hand at all times, and they have proven to be an absolute staple for my household electronics. It seems like everything these days uses a CR2032 coin cell, and buying a generic brand is always a gamble. With these, you know exactly what you are getting. I have used these to power everything from automotive key fobs and garage door openers to smart home sensors, PC motherboards, and small garage tools. They deliver a completely stable, consistent 3V output that keeps devices working at peak performance without dropping connection or glitching. The shelf life on these is exceptional, holding their power for up to 10 to 12 years in storage. It is incredibly convenient to toss the pack in a drawer and know they will still have a full charge when an emergency backup is needed. This isn’t frustrations free but it is for a good reason. You need scissors to get into the battery and as promised the battery has an absolutely awful bitter taste. Yes, very adult me tapped it on my tongue. I have a house with littles so button batteries are a concern for me and knowing first hand how awful this taste, plus how difficult opening it is to begin with, I do feel a bit better. Onto use, this is the exact number my Dyson remote needs. I popped the old one out and this one in, and like magic, the remote works again! All in all, a super fast swap for something that has annoyed me for months because I was constantly forgetting. Amazon was a great price (~$4.50 ish) My local grocery store wanted more than double!

I bought this set to put in my Sega Dreamcast VMUs. I have two of those and much to my surprise each one requires two of these types of batteries, so the 4 pack was perfect. They work well and hopefully they'll last a good while!

This subscribe and save deal was too good to pass up. I have a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E350 key fob that uses this battery. I will have to update on longevity as I just put it in on May 13, 2026. I have been accidentally using the CR 2025 batteries in my key fob with no luck, I was going thru the brand name battery in 2 months. I am hoping a few years ago I accidentally put the wrong battery in my key fob and it is supposed to take the CR2032 battery. The battery fits inside the compartment and the car is working without any error messages. These batteries came packaged as having color alert and a bitter coating. They did have a slightly bitter taste, but nothing so bad or pungent to prevent a child from eating the battery. It did turn my fingers, lips and tongue blue and all I did was a tiny little lick. I think this is a great feature and should be on all batteries. Unfortunately, there needs to be more public awareness, I had no idea this existed. If I saw a kid with blue fingers and lips I would think the child was playing with a blue marker. I would’ve never known this feature existed if I hadn’t bought this particular package. Also, the packaging is harder to rip, I had to use a scissor to cut it open. Each battery is then sealed inside individual compartments so they do not all fall out at once, but this also makes it even more difficult for small child to get at one of these batteries. Energizer Lithium batteries have a great reputation and I’m very pleased with my purchase. Update: My daughter needed one of these batteries for her malfunctioning Frida baby thermometer. The thermometer was only nine months old and hardly used, but the battery that came with it was losing its life and giving inaccurate readings. My daughter thought the thermometer was broken, luckily I just received these batteries and brought one to her. The thermometer is now working perfectly with the new Energizer 2032 battery. She too had no idea that these batteries have a blue dye to indicate your child could’ve put them in their mouth. She is fully aware of the dangers of button batteries. The acid can quickly eat and destroy the esophagus of a small child so she was pleased to find out Energizer is marking their batteries to help people recognize if their child could have possibly swallowed a button battery.
