High tension springs
Works well for my whirlpool duet sport. Bought these in 2008 and just changed the springs this March of 2026. These new springs are really tight and u may want to improvise a hoist to support the HEAVY drum. Lucky i got some handle bar from my toolbox that fits just perfect.

These were much longer than the originals so I will return them. They appear to be of good quality and a good value for the price. Only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is they did not fit my washer.

Not equal to the original!
I have a Whirlpool WFW9050XWW00. I replaced the original springs with these springs and it’s a good thing that I measured the position of the tub before starting. These springs offer less tension and the tub hung 1/2 inch lower than with the original springs. In addition, when I compared the spring wire diameter the new springs were VISIBLY thinner than the original springs. These were advertised as an exact fit...they are NOT. Run from these things. DO NOT BUY.

Most of the items ordered were correct, except for one.
Product is of high quality but....is the wrong type for my wash machine tube. I believed it was the right one when I ordered it but found out when I removed one of the old springs that the hooks are not aligned from top to bottom. The old hook I took off my wash machine has as a real example one face at the12 o'clock position and the bottom faces sideways at the 3 o'clock position. The new spring is real thick and so tightly winded up and does not budge if you try to twist it into the 3 o'clock position. So. I'll keep it even though its the wrong type. So, that's why I gave it a one star rating for easy to install. Couldn't use it!!!

GREAT PRIOCE, WORKS PERFECTLY
These springs are perfect, worked perfect, but installing them is very difficult! Very difficult. See photo. If you are replacing these on your machine, there is a good chance that one of your springs has broken, and the tub in your machine has fallen on one side. You will need a rope to pull the drum back up high enough so that you can get these springs installed. It is a two person job, but I was able to do it alone with rope and A LOT OF LIFTING. Sears wanted $70 for the same sprints, no way!
