Very good quality. Packaged well. Delivered quickly. Unfortunately would not work on my Kimber. Ordered the ADE base for a different dovetail but still wouldn’t work on the Kimber. Very sad about that! Not the product’s fault!!! Added this set up to my Dad’s Sig Sauer instead and it works awesome!! Highly recommend this sight for a high quality budget red dot!!!

Super easy to install. Hardest part was getting the factory sight out

Took a lot of filing to get the base to fit in the rear sight, put 40 rounds through and it flew off and hit me square in the nose, When it worked it works good for the price, need to make some modifications, longer screws and lock tight , then give it another try.

So I wish I could like this sight. The windage dial does not change anything at all. I have a laser on my pistol that is sighted correctly so I can turn it on and compare the change in windage/elevation relative to the laser. The elevation seems to work okay (at least it moves) even though I need a shim to cant it enough to be accurate, but the windage does nothing.I have tried multiple times & multiple ways to contact ADE Optics about this issue but cannot find any way to do so. Their phone number listed doesn’t work, the website on Amazon “contact info” doesn’t work, typing in their website won’t load, and I can’t find an email address for them.I would just return it, but I had to modify the dovetail that came with it to fit my Girsan 1911’s rear dovetail & it took me so long to get it on there correctly that I’m not taking it off. At least I got a baseplate out of this…. I guess. I just bought a vortex venom instead, since it uses the same base footprint. Since I’m keeping this sight I would like for it to function because I have other firearms I could mount it to, but alas, if I can’t get ahold of their customer service it will probably end up in the garbage.

5 stars for the ade red dot! I have this same model on all my pistols and it has always been great.I dont normally write reviews, but felt the need to share that this 1911 mount was complete crap. It is wider than the original rear dovetail sight which forces you to file it down and requires excess gun lube and a sight pushing tool. (Which it actually dented the sight pusher a bit when you use some force).Didn’t want to deal with the extra work to make it fit and nor should I had to as it should’ve been plug and play. Went ahead and just ordered the egw 1911 optic mount and was able to install it on the first attempt. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for.

Worked well for the first 500 rounds, it was pretty accurate. Then the glass broke just from shooting. I tried contacting the company directly but no response.If you’re willing to spend $80 on a sight, I’d just save time and go a step further and get one that’s a little more expensive.

Its a little big, but it works. The screen reads clean with minimal splash in the dot.
