Fabric Shaver, Fuzz Balls Pills Lint Remover, AC120V Plug and Play

Actually works well! I remember having a battery powered sweater shaver in the 90s—it was worthless and convinced me that all of these were good in concept but not in practice. I was wrong. This sweater shaver is really good, especially on cashmere in my opinion. Also good on acrylic—not quite as clean a cut, a bit gummier, but maybe that’s a strength too as it takes off a bit less. With a little extra time, it would equal the cashmere in amount cut.) I have a cotton sweater it was also good with—more like the rayon. The plug in power source is superb. It comes with backup razor—super safe, y’all. For years I had those handled rollers with tape, and now I won’t buy any more of them because this is both cheaper and much, much more effective.

So, full confession... I purchased this 8 months ago meaning to use it straight away, but ended up putting it in one of my kitchen cabinets and totally forgot about it until just a few days ago. Our cat still has her claws and sometimes she randomly gets hyperactive out of nowhere (my wife and I call it 'Crazy Kitty Mode'). Every time she goes into crazy mode, she'll run right by the scratching post we got her and scratch up the same two spots on an old fabric accent chair, luckily an old one we don't really care about. Recently I noticed just how badly she had frayed the fabric and miraculously remembered the fabric shaver. This thing is AWESOME! It cleaned up the spots of frayed fabric so well that I went around looking for more fabric things to shave. The shaver made quick work out of everything that I threw at it, and the results were always exceptional. Now you can't even tell that the accent chair had been scratched up and also made worn, pilling shirts and pillows look brand new! My favorite part is being able to see all the shavings in the clear receptacle and dumping it out. The noise isn't too loud and makes about as much noise as I would expect a fabric shaver to make. My ONLY complaint about the product is how annoyingly short the power cord is. I estimate the cord is only about 3-4 feet in length, and if I'm using it on furniture I have to maneuver things around so the shaver can reach where it needs to. Overall, I am very pleased with this product! It's very easy to use and clean-up is simple. It works very well and always leaves a good result. As I mentioned earlier, I just wish the power cord was 2-3 feet longer. If you're smart and own an extension cord, you won't find that to be as much of an issue (we are not smart). I easily recommend this product, and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

A Long time ago my father had a smaller one similar to this product. It was smaller and battery operated. Well it always need batteries and then finally the batteries had gotten old and corroded the inside. We had to get rid of it. I had always wanted to get one again. Well I finally got a new one with some differences I thought I needed to have in the new one. I love that there is a cord attached and it just keeps on going. I nice power unit. As you can see from the photos of the before and after it's definitely a must have. This sweater vest is one of my favorites, a go to everyday favorite. Because of the everyday use the vest started to get tattered, and for the lack of better words old looking. I just didn't fell as comfortable wearing anymore. What did people think, how did it make me come across. The thought of not wearing it as mush or even anymore really bummed me out. The very day it came in, I sat down and started using it on my vest. I am in complete amazement on how clean and new the vest looks now. I feel comfortable going out in my vest again! I love this Fabric Shaver. I filled the lower compartment 6 times. My house will always have one of these in it. They delivered quickly. It extremely easy to use. and it comes with two extra stainless steel blades as well as cleaning brush. So this unit will be around for a long time in our house. You don't need to worry about batteries running low, or in the case, you don't use it for a while you won't have to worry about the batteries corroding the inside. When you want to use it, pull it out of the draw, plug it in and a way you go. I love it. Thank you for designing a really nice tool.

It is light weight and easy to work with. It did a great job with very little effort on my part. It made "old looking" furniture look almost new again.

Bought for $12.99 in March 2023. Ours came with two spare blade sets. This turned out to the a pretty handy little lint shaver. It is mostly plastic, but it's better built than you'd think. It works pretty well overall but in general, the softer the fabric, the better it works. We bought it for mainly things made from yarn or wool. However, we've also used it on flannel sheets, bath towels, curtains and the couch. The tool is small, so it can take a while to clean up an item if it's large like a blanket. Even though the catch bin is pretty small, it's quick and easy to empty it out and get going again. Small things like sweaters and socks can be done in a few minutes. We've had ours for a few years now and use it for maybe an hour or so every few months. It's nice to have extra blades, but under normal use I can't see them needing to ever be changed. --- Anyway, its a great, light weight, easy to use fuzz shaver for the price.

Update at the bottom Love this! So glad I purchase this. Beside the cord being a little short, it worked out. Don’t judge me based on my mattress sheet lol. It was a topper that came with our 3 in foam mattress topper. The fitted sheet was nice but it just collected too much lint balls. It didn’t matter how u sleep or crawling into bed right after a shower, it was jus dirty. Jus had to get it. The shaver was a good choice because it’s a plug in. A job that big, I would not have been able to do it with a portable one, battery operated. And plus, the plug in had a stronger modem that worked a lot better than the battery operated. It took me more than a couple of hours to shave my fitted sheet. Luckily, it was a plug in. I found it easier for me to use in circular motion back and forth to get all the lint cleaned because the lint balls was jus so bad. Going back and forth on an area made it cleaner because the bed sheet was thick. I also did my maxi dress while I was wearing it. Did it on my pregnant belly and it worked jus fine. Because the dress material was thin, I didn’t have to go over the area over and over like I did with the bed sheet. But on thin material, it would be beat to go in circular motion only because u can tell and see the line marks, kinda like when you cut the grass and u can see the grass cut line. U can tell from the pic. Oh, and all that lint balls in my hand was from my bed sheet alone! Phew, now I can sleep peacefully wo having to feel lint balls under my legs! Best purchase ever! Will update how long this shaver lasts in a couple of months. So satisfying. Give me a thumbs up if u find this helpful. Update: After only using this for a day, this broke! Don’t buy. I had a lot to clean and the modem gave out. Not strong enough to last for big continuous work. All I did was my mattress topper and two dresses. Couldn’t get thru the second dress. The modem started to slow down and jus couldn’t work anymore. I asked for a replacement, the replacement was no better. Still the same. So I changed my rating to 1 star. If I could, zero! I will be returning both of them for a refund.

I have had this product since 2019 and it works great for removing lint and fuzzy lifts on sweaters and pillows. It has not damaged any of my items and makes them look new once they are delinted. It fits my hands well and is easy to use.

This is the perfect little razor to remove the pilling in any sweater. I know it says not to wear your clothing while you are using it, but I do. It is easy to see where the pilling is and it collects it quickly and efficiently . As a rule the pilling sweaters are my most expensive so I figure it is best to just keep taking it off until the sweater wears out. There is an extra blade included and this will last a long time. The cord could always be a little longer but it is certainly long enough. Nice that it just plugs in and away you go. So many things these days need a usb charge.

This gets the job done. Fits nicely in the hand, sturdy, and I love that it uses electricity. A little bit of the fuzz collected does leak out the side, but that's not an issue with me. It could be I need to empty the container more. The unit doesn't get overheated with 30 minutes of use. I recommend this product!!

The first use, I loved the shaver. Lots of power and a nice clean shave/pill removal. But when it lost its charge, it would not recharge for me. So I am returning it unfortunately. I am hoping this was just a "lemon" because it worked so well first time. I may reorder and hope for better results.

Doesn't do an excellent job removing the lent. You still see some residue. Only works on some fabric not all
