This is a wonderful shampoo than is moisturizing enough to double up as your conditioner (even though CM has their own conditioner already). I own about 85% of products from the Christina Moss line because I really think the product quality is amazing. First off, let me tell you about my hair. I have healthy hair that gets a little dry at the ends (no split ends) BUT I have a VERY oily scalp. The longest I can go without washing my hair before it looks like I dipped my hair in Crisco is at most two days. I also have eczema (AD) and a variety of skin allergies to parabens, tree resin, bacitracin, epoxy resins, quinolone, and wool alcohols (lanolin). Unfortunately, a lot of hair care products and cosmetics have these products. Due to my skin allergies, everything will be fine until several months later when I get a massive eczema flare-up from using the wrong product. I went to the dermatologist, found out what I was allergic to and decided to be proactive about my skin's health and that's how I first found out about Christina Moss. I needed a shampoo that would clean thoroughly without over-stripping my scalp of oils (which actually causes your scalp to produce more oil), but it also had to be hydrating yet light enough that my hair would not be a puddle of oil by the second day. I've used everything from drugstore brands to high end brands. The last brand I used was from Alterna. While I found them to absolutely divine as far as how it made my hair look, my hair was weighed down and slightly itchy despite Alterna being sulfate-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and etc. I also have very slick, thick, straight hair that fell flat. I loved Alterna but I hated that their volumizing shampoo had so many extra chemicals. This shampoo is light, works into a great lather, and actually made my hair super thick and shiny with a whole lot of volume. A lot of people will complain that it doesn't lather as well because they are associating the lather with cleanliness (which is an effect created from specific ingredients). This shampoo will give you a very squeaky clean as opposed to a silky (coated strands of hair) clean. If my hair is dirtier than usual from using styling products or if I need a deep clean, I wash my hair twice and start with a half dollar amount to my scalp. (my hair is down to my armpits) I lather and wash it by raking my hair in a front to back of the head motion using broad strokes (like if you are being shampooed by another person). For some odd reason, this produces a better lather than swirling hair around or using a scratching motion. I let it sit for five minutes. It rinses off easily and if I do end up shampooing it for a second time, the lather is way more luxurious since both the scalp and hair are much cleaner. This review is much longer compared to my other reviews but I hope you get the full gist of it. I would definitely buy this again.

great product.
updated (7/9/19)I have purchased the product (hair shampoo) many many times for my 2 teens. One has curly/dry hair and one has straight/oily hair and they both keep requesting the same shampoo. They like how it leaves their hair. I like how it works for both types of hair. It leaves their hair clean and I don't worry about putting harmful chemicals in their hair. We have tried other organic shampoos, but keep coming back to Christina Moss Naturals Shampoo. It works. Updated Review (3/18) - This the 6th or 7th time I purchase this product. I buy it for my kids. It does a great job, and it's organic. We love it. Original review- My kids and I have used it and it is amazing the difference in our hair. It looks soft but not oily. The other shampoos made our hair look oily not long after washing. This product seems to balance oily hair better. I will recommend this product to people from normal to oily hair.

Works for me!
I think the shampoo is great. It cleans my oily hair well and it does not feel dry after. I always wash my hair twice because it is oily. The CM company also instructs to wash your hair twice during shower time. The shampoo foams nicely with enough water. It seems to not have a fragrance, which is why I gave it four stars. I thought it would smell like lavender but there is no scent at all. After reading the ingredients, LOL there is no lavender in the ingredients! The packaging has the photos of lavender on the bottle and I just assumed it was lavender! My mistake. It does say it contains rosemary extract but I truly don't notice any scent. Great product for someone with sensitivities and allergies that like scent free products. This is a small bottle 8oz. I thought the bottle would be a bit bigger for the price. Using it twice a day, it goes pretty fast. The packaging was excellent and the shipping was really fast too. I would order it again despite the lack of fragrance, it works well for my hair type and I appreciate the all natural, truly pure ingredients. The follow up from the CM company is great after the purchase. Everyone has different hair types. I am not sure if CM has any samples of products to try. If they did I would give it a try.

Great product and service!
I've been looking for a natural shampoo without all the chemicals and finally found this Christina Moss shampoo. I like that I can pronounce all the ingredients. It has hardly any smell to it and after using it for a few weeks, it leaves my hair soft. I received an email from the company shortly after ordering, explaining more about the shampoo and its best use. I thought that was great. The company seems very responsive and like they care for their customers. I may order the conditioner as long as it doesn't contain any bad ingredients. I am definitely satisfied with the shampoo so far. I'd like to add to my previous review since I have now tried the conditioner as well and I love it!! It doesn't weigh my hair down and still leaves it soft. It has a slight refreshing odor to it but not strong at all. I've been using the shampoo for about a year and the conditioner for about a month and just love them both. I also must say that the customer service at this company is excellent! They respond right away when I have questions and even reached out to me out to thank me for my continued business. They are very personable and feel like they truly care for their customers, which is rare these days. I hope they keep making their wonderful, natural products and keep up on their exceptional level of customer service. Thank you Christina Moss and staff!

Will no longer be using this brand!
My entire family has been using the Christina Moss brand shampoo, conditioner and face wash for 10 years now. However, recently the formula has changed. I started having a dry, flaky scalp and my daughter developed blister like bumps all around the beginning of her scalp! It is very disappointing that we will no longer be using a brand that we loved and trusted.

Good Quality, But Very Different from Traditional Shampoo
This is a high quality shampoo that pairs well with the brandโs peppermint conditioner. At first I was not fond of it because if you use it incorrectly it can make your hair very dry and tangled. It is a concentrated shampoo that is meant to be used in very small amounts. When used correctly it compliments your natural hair chemistry. I originally bought the shampoo to improve my scalp dryness and it has helped a good bit. Here are directions for how to use this shampoo properly: Rinse your hair, add a pea size amount and lather between your fingers, then massage onto your scalp only. Add another pea size amount if needed. Do not massage into the length of your hair, only on your scalp. Rinse gently. Then towel dry. Then add a small amount of their peppermint conditioner to your hair starting at the tips and working your way up. If your hair is naturally greasy, do not add it to your scalp. Let the conditioner sit for 3-7 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Gently towel dry and style as normal. Gently comb your hair between washes twice a day for about a minute to work the natural hair oils down the length of your hair. I have found that I can go much longer with this shampoo between washes with very little greasiness and no scalp irritation. I was very skeptical at first but have come to really like this shampoo. It is just important to note that it requires you to change your regular shampooing ritual a bit. Less is more, and natural is better.

My new favorite shampoo and conditioner!
I've only been using this and the conditioner for 1.5 weeks, but I am already pretty satisfied with these products. I have been suffering from dandruff for approximately 2-3 years. Initially I tried a couple dandruff shampoos (Neutrogena and Head&Shoulders Classic Clean) and none of them solved the issue. I tried L'oreal (the one that claims has no sulfates) and it didn't work either. I then changed to Head&Shoulders Clinical Strength (the one on the dark blue bottle with orange shampoo) and I finally found the one that resolved the dandruff and itch issue. However, I didn't want to over do it with the "extra strength", but whenever I changed to any other brand my scalp became itchy and flaky in a matter of days or just a couple of weeks and I had to go back to H&S. Now, I decided to get a 100% organic shampoo because H&S was starting to make my hair oily and even when I had just washed my hair, it felt heavy and greasy. After 1.5 weeks of using Christina Moss Shampoo and Conditioner I have been able to know what it feels like to have a clean scalp and bouncy hair. I have very fine, straight hair with not a lot of volume, and these products give it the volume I was looking for. Granted, my hair still gets oily because I practice yoga at least 5 days a week, sweat profusely, and I live in Puerto Rico where the weather is hot and very humid, but every time I've washed my hair with the CM shampoo it leaves it feeling light and clean. The first two or three times I washed my hair with it, I noticed white flakes on my head that I don't know if it was dandruff that was starting to come off as I had gone back to H&S Classic Clean before deciding on CM, but they have disappeared since then and my scalp is seldom itchy. It is true what other buyers have said and the seller about washing your hair twice as the second wash will generate a thicker lather and will leave it squeaky clean. I still haven't tried leaving a small amount of conditioner on after towel drying my hair, but hopefully I will give this a try when I go to the beach during the summer. The only think I am still getting used to is the fact that my hair doesn't have that fragrant smell after I wash it, as I really liked that about my previous shampoos - maybe the only thing I really liked- (the CM shampoo has basically no scent and the conditioner only a mild, but very pleasant smell that doesn't really linger on my hair). This is a definite must if you're looking for natural, organic products. Knowing that my body is not absorbing any harmful chemicals is also a huge relieve and gives me peace of mind.

Awesome.
Unfortunately, safe products are not easy to come by. And sometimes they don't give you the same effect as the conventional products you are used to. In my experience, this one does better! I haven't used conventional hair products in years, so I'm not sure about the transition that they describe. I was looking for something that had a better ingredient list and better quality than what I was currently using, and I just wanted to switch it up. I cringed at the price tag but figured I would return it if it didn't live up to the price tag. But it does. A little goes a long way, I have shoulder length hair and a dime size amount is enough for me as long as I lather it in my hands and start working it in around my scalp at the roots. It has such a luxurious, silky feel/lather. And it cleans very well and very gently. My hair gets oily after a day and it helps with that. I can go without conditioner and it doesn't look too scraggly but I think it primes my hair so nicely for conditioner. I've used it with a different conditioner but not the same brand conditioner, so I can't comment on that. Thanks for making such a great product!

This is a beautiful product...
This is a beautiful product. Our son is chronically ill so we are removing all toxins from his diet . This shampoo lathers just the right amount ,cleaned his hair wonderfully . it leaves no bubbly residue in the bath and helped him relax and sleep well. In my opinion it is the perfect choice for young children . I now feel his bath is a safe place not a dangerous soak in harsh chemicals . Thank you for creating this amazing product a parent can feel good about !

This shampoo does a pretty good job
I have a lot of trouble with an itchy scalp and have tried many different shampoos and soaps. This shampoo does a pretty good job. I only have a minimal amount of itching so far. I like that you only need a little to get a lot of lather.

It's Not For Me
I have a dry scalp and oily hair so when I was looking for shampoo that would help I kept hearing about this one. I read a lot of reviews praising this product so I ordered it and was hoping for the best. I was so disappointed! The only point in all of the positive reviews I agree with is that a little of this shampoo goes a long way. It did nothing for my problem and I actually had to wash my hair a couple days earlier than usual. I was really hoping this shampoo would have solved my hair woes but I guess I'll keep looking. Best of luck to those trying this shampoo and maybe it will work for you, who knows?

Drying effect?
Even though I love the fact that it is a pure natural product, after 2 weeks of using it my scalp started to itch. I have to use a conditioner (which I don't really like doing,) so it doesn't feel dry.
