6" Navigation Compass Divider with Steel Needle Points an

This is a very valuable tool for me to transfer measurements when I am cutting multiple pieces of plastic for scale modeling. I like the nautical look. The two points are easily separated but hold where you place them so that you get an accurate measurement. I have used these multiple times a week and they do the job just fine.

The dividers need to be tight in order to maintain measured distance while moving to scale of miles. This unit does find and I like the heavy weight as it is easier to control. For plotting on NOAA charts the size is perfect.

Nice instrument. Nice weight to it and appears to be a good value for the price. What would have made it better is if came with a case, even a slip in plastic sleeve.

Too stiff not adjustable. I do not recommend for plotting in flight.

The finish on the metal is not very good. There are scratches and a variety of blemishes,

A compass of poor quality, badly finished and badly built; also extremely difficult to open. They should be ashamed to sell items like this. This is the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon.

Needed dividers. What more can I say.

The product that I received should be a quality control reject. The joint is so stiff that it requires two hands to pick up a setting. Even then, the amount of force to change the setting is significant; causing the arms to spread in jumps. Getting a specific measurement is arduous. Lubricating the joint did not help.
