The other day I searched Amazon and am grateful I found this beautiful "quality" 8 quart piece to partner with me daily as I passionately create and cook healthy delicious nutritious foods. I am single and cook for an army, lol. The quality is superior and can endure up to 600 degrees! No burning the bottom of the pot and steamed with ease! I love the line measurements engraved inside the pot! Provided the perfect amount of water for the steaming! My Brussel sprouts, butter squash, broccoli steamed perfectly and the bright colors remained. The weight is perfect and I look forward to cooking pastas! The functionality so easy! All-Clad makes a great product. Sad these aren't made here in Pennsylvania. Great for pasta, and even an inland small shrimp boil. It gets hot and stays hot. Yinz who eat pierogies and boil them off first before the butter and onion bath.... well, you know. :-) I use a spyder to pluck them out while dropping more in. This does the trick. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

I bought this pot to replace an older all-clad multipot that doesn’t work with induction. I can confirm that this one does. A nice addition to our all-clad collection! It is wider and shorter than the old 8 quart pot; I prefer the new shape. The interior dimensions of the main pot are: 26.5 cm diameter, 14 cm tall. That’s 8 quarts if you fill it to the brim. Realistically 6 quarts is the max.

I received a defective pot. It looked brand new and unopened, no dents or scratches to speak of, but the thick, clad bottom piece has a noticeable gap between it and the rest of the pot on one side. It looked like it was welded or attached slightly off center. The other side had a tight seal with no gap. Attaching photos of both sides. I'm returning this one and re-ordering the same item, so will update review later. Seems great other than the defect, which is why I am trying again. *Update* I sent the defective pot back, and ordered a new one. The second one arrived recently. The box looked as though it has been previously opened, but the contents was in great shape. I used the pot/strainer this weekend to make a big batch of turkey stock. Works great! Strainer basket makes it much easier to pull the bones and other simmering ingredients out of the stock.

What a beautiful pot, even if you don’t cook, it simply sitting on top of your stove makes it look as if you are a serious chef, but in all seriousness, it is a very functional pot having the strainer lid and the liters and quarts marked on the inside for easy measuring. Especially if you have a pot filler at the stove as I do. That means one less item to wash.

Der Topf sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Der Deckel hat seine vor und Nachteile. Er passt leider nur auf diesen Topf. Allerdings kann man die Nudeln Problem abseihen ohne dass der Deckel vom Topf runterfällt. Leider ist die Qualität des Topfes nicht so gut. Nach dem ersten abschrecken der Nudeln wurde der Boden uneben. Dies wird auch beim erwärmen nicht besser. Auch ganz offiziell drauf, dass der Topf made in China ist.
