Powerful Cooling and Great Value
I’m very impressed with this Lasko 18-inch pedestal fan. It provides strong airflow and cools the room quickly, even on the lower settings. The swirling cyclone grill really helps circulate air evenly throughout the space. The remote control is very convenient, and the fan is easy to adjust for height and direction. It’s also quieter than I expected, which makes it perfect for bedrooms or offices. The build quality feels solid, and the energy-efficient performance is a big plus. Overall, this fan is reliable, stylish, and definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

Sturdy and Useful Fans to Keep One Cool
In an effort to use less electricity by not turning on the AC during the summer, I ordered two of these fans. They are easy to assemble and work wonderfully. They oscillate or remain fixed as you select and have three levels of air flow. They are light and therefore easy to move to different rooms as needed. They keep me cool on the really humid days and save me money. I am happy I ordered them.

Great fan & it has a remote!
I was a little concerned when I opened the box and saw that I had to assemble this fan. All those pieces! But, to my surprise it was very easy. No tooIs, everything snaps together. I did have a little difficulty with the 2 pieces for the extended pole as there is a flange end and straight end, but I just watched the very short video and they explained it very well. This is perfect as my windows are a little higher but this fan makes it all work. I like that it oscillates.

Great fan with mid base
Ok so lets get the bad out of the way and the reason for the 4 stars. I will be comparing this to my broken Honeywell's experience. So far I'm loving this fan but i really didn't like the fact the whole fan is pretty much made out of plastic and the base is big, like twice the size of my Honeywell base. so if you have very limited space in your bedroom like me, make sure you have room for it. So I just took my old Honeywell base from my fan that broke and slapped it on the Lasko. Take notes Lasko if you are going to charge more than Honeywell at least make the base metal, the Honeywell base and construction for the most part is made of metal, feels very solid and not only is it made of metal but at the bottom it screws in to make sure the metal rod doesn't move. with the slight modification this fan is the best thing ever. I wish the whole thing wasn't made out of plastic. Like the fan grills I'm used to having fans that have a metal construction but i decided to take a chance on this anyway but it seems to hold up well so far. Don't bother with the Velcro that comes with the remote, its cheap and it loses its adhesive after 24 hours so get your own Velcro if you need it. Also the remote strength isn't that strong, I tested it by pointing the remote in the opposite direction of the fan and it would not work unless I pointed it directly at the fan but its still nice to have for those days you're feeling extra lazy. lol Also why cheap out and not make the oscillation on the fan a button instead of the old way of waiting for it to move to the right spot and pull the switch on the back, my Honeywell had a button you could just press real quick instead, minor inconvenience to me, maybe I'm just spoiled, its just kind of confusing to come from a fan that was cheaper and used better materials and function for its design. Stay with me though these are just my personal critiques others may not care about at all.Now for the Good.Fan is strong and at setting one it has enough power for my needs, but this thing can go full force and blow a lot of air if you need it too, its much stronger than my old Honeywell and from what I heard Lasko makes really good long lasting fan motors. I like the fact that it has a built in timer for the fan, the Lasko logo looks great. Easy to assemble in a few minutes, I like the larger grill I feel like it pushes more air out due to its design better than my Honeywell. Also if the fan is making weird noise like clicking in the beginning, you might have made the same mistake as me and not put on the center hub that holds the fan blade in place tighter, I had to tighten it as hard as I could to make the noise go away so make sure you don't tighten it too loosely I wont hold that against them though it was user error. If Lasko took some construction cues from Honeywell in the future and opted for more of a metal build their fans would be the best in my opinion but I'm guessing the cost of a reliable motor makes them want to cheap out on the construction of the fan a bit, BUT overall its a good fan and I'm happy with it for the most part. This is my first Lasko fan so I'm hoping it lasts a long time. If you are looking for a fan that blows a lot of air this is for you. Despite my criticisms I'm happy with this fan so far. I hope it holds up well. If you don't mind a big base and the plastic construction you should get this fan.

Best cooling fan with remote
I love this fan. Lasco fans are my go to fans to buy. This cyclone one is awesome. Great price and fast delivery.I used another pedestal fan and you could hardly feel it on medium. This cyclone is on low and you can really feel it and hear it. High was to high for what I needed it for. This is perfect and so glad I bought it.I'm surprised that it doesn't cost more. Lasko fans have always been reliable for me and affordable. I highly recommend this fan. It's a little loud but it's great background noise that you'll get used to and after a while not really hear it. The best part is it has a remote control which I love. Now I don't have to get up and down to turn it off and on.

Great item
This is the second of these fans I've purchased.First one in black tho. Anyways, they're really easy to assemble, they have great air flow, and at night on the low setting aren't unbearably loud, that's subjective tho. For me it's not too loud.Cleaning this type of fan is easy to, quick disassembly of the blade housing and blade, 3 pieces, toss em in the dishwasher, set it and forget it, when the cycle is done and they're dry, perfectly clean like brand new.I might actually get a 3rd honestly...

Sturdy and Easy to Put Together
I was a little nervous when the box arrived and it was rattling. The fan arrived dissembled. But the good news is that it was very easy to put together, works well, and seems very sturdy.Tip: put the front cover with the logo on the front fan piece first before attaching to the fan to make sure it's lined up correctly. I followed the instructions the first time and put it on last and ended up with a lopsided logo. But it was easy to take the front of the fan off to do it again. With regards to affordability - I'm old enough to remember when a fan like this shouldn't have cost more than $30, but there didn't seem to be anything with this quality at that price point.

Easy Assembly; Great Air; Flimsy Parts
We just received this, so I cannot vouch for its longevity. Putting it together was a breeze (pun intended 😉). It took under 10 minutes for me to assemble by myself. Instructions are pretty bad (almost non-existent), but there is a picture, limited parts, and assembly order made sense. It went together with no wobble in the stand. The amount of air this fan moves is impressive! It easily adjusts between settings and really blows. If you’re looking for ultra quiet, it’s his might not be your fan as it is fairly loud (again…it’s moving A LOT of air). So, all of that got 4 stars. I took off a star for materials. This fan is plastic. All of it (pretty much). The blades and fan casing are super flimsy and easily bent with almost no pressure. They do “bounce back,” but it does make me wonder how long this fan will last. Then again, it is lower priced, so…You get what you pay for? We’ll see. Time will tell. We’ll enjoy it in the meantime in this summer heat.

Works great
Fan is large and powerful. Kinda loud buy I don't mind. Remote is nice but it doesn't have the turning function on the remote. Still a great fan, keeps you very cool

THIS FAN BLOWS LOL
This fan is AMAZING! It really delivers everything it promises, very powerful fan. I use it in smaller room so the medium setting is perfect, on high it’ll blow the paint off the walls, and I mean that in the best way possible! Also high setting is a bit loud for a small room, but it’s really not needed anyway. It’s on 24/7 in the middle of an excruciatingly hot heat wave, and cools enough for me to sleep well .

Holy Moly, this fan blows!
I had a Seville tower fan that needed to be replaced. The Seville fan was disgustingly dirty. After a couple of years, I couldn't figure out, or be bothered, to take it apart to clean it. Finding a fan easy to clean was a priority for me, this definitely met the criteria.I been battling some pretty intense PTSD for the last couple of years, nightmares and running hot is protocol when I sleep now. I really thought the Seville fan was amazing, but by comparison, this thing will blow that pigs straw house right down! I really do love how strong the fan is. Thus far, I've only had to keep the fan on the second level. There's still one whole level of cool I've yet to experience. The sound is pretty drowning, which for me, after a week or so, worked in my favour. I live in a quiet neighborhood, but I startle easily. So like, leaves blowing will wake me up. With the fan on, I can open the window and not be bothered anymore. It did take a bit to get used to the sound of the fan, but it was totally worth it for me. I'm very happy with my purchase.

"Thickness" is a thing we rate a fan on?
Why you asking me about a fan's thickness? WTH is that? Daaaaaaaaamn that fan is thicccccccc...said NO ONE EVER.Anyway, about the actual useful elements to the fan. This fan is super easy to assemble if you're a female. Likely not so much for the men in the crowd who are too manly to bother reading instructions and will probably end up assembling it into a toaster. This fan is POWERFUL. On it's lowest setting, you could use it as a hair dryer. On it's highest setting, it'll blow you right into next year.Which lets be honest, with the way 2020 is going, sounds like a pretty good option right now.Gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it also sounds like a small aircraft, so if you're hoping for something that is powerful yet quiet, this one checks the "nope" box on that front.
