Best screen protector I've purchased. Fits great, easy to use, doesn't trap dust or collect it like a glass screen protector. Love the paper feel allows for a unique drawing/writing experience.

I recently began using an iPad as a 'virtual blackboard' for online teaching. Initially, I struggled with writing on the iPad's glass screen with an Apple pencil - my handwriting was extremely messy. After I attached this matte finish screen protector, it became much easier to draw and write on the iPad. It feels very similar to writing on paper, which for me (and I would guess, lots of other people) is even more comfortable than writing on a whiteboard or blackboard. It's so comfortable that I think I might begin using it in face-to-face classes instead of the whiteboard. And it was the most inexpensive iPad accessory I've bought. That's saying something: iPad accessories are normally pretty expensive. Attaching the screen protector is relatively easy, and the enclosed instructions are pretty good. The manufacturer provides stickers that help you align the screen protector on your iPad before commit to sticking it to the screen. One caution: in the last stop of installation, you have to be careful to remove the outer protective layer without pulling off the screen protector. And I found the cardboard squeegee provided with the screen protector was less effective at removing bubbles under the protector than a cheap, 2-inch rubber squeegee; you can order one of those for just a few dollars. Overall, it's an excellent accessory if you want to use an iPad with an Apple pencil as a notebook or whiteboard. Plus, the screen protector substantially reduces glare, and the iPad is still just as responsive to touch and gestures.

I got my iPad to help with digital art, as I had been using my iPhone with a plain stylus and I wanted to upgrade to the iPad with Apple Pencil. Every article I read and every video I watched about using the iPad for art or graphic design, they all recommended a paperlike screen protector. After all, if you're drawing on it then you want it to feel like actually drawing on paper. I was skeptical, because honestly I don't draw on paper much anymore and I'm used to the glossy feel of my iPhone screen. Plus a lot of the paperlike screen protectors that were recommended cost a lot. But I found this one, and figured eh if it doesn't work for me then I'm not out too much money, and I can just get a Zagg or something to replace it later. Boy was I wrong. This thing is awesome. It was really easy to install, just be patient and make sure the screen is perfectly clean so there won't be bubbles. Once I got it installed, it felt weird to touch because it's a little bit rough, almost like a very fine sandpaper. But then I tried with the Apple Pencil, and it feels so crazy good! It doesn't really feel like drawing on paper, in my opinion, but the texture adds a little bit of resistance as you're drawing, making a very satisfying scratchy noise and helping me draw more accurately because I can feel where the pencil is on the "page". If you're like I was, wondering whether a paperlike screen protector is really that big a deal, i hope this review helped. If you're using your iPad to watch YouTube and play games, without the Pencil, maybe you'd prefer a normal screen protector. But for drawing, this is perfect and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I haven’t used it for long so I may edit this review in the future, but I did spend a long time to install this product trying to get rid of bubbles! It turns out I had gotten rid of the bubbles but the blue protective film gave the illusion that I had one remaining tiny bubble (but it was between the film and the screen, not the screen protector and my ipad). The blue did help me see the bubbles easier, so I appreciate that coloring! Once I installed it, there were absolutely no bubbles (I’m very picky with those). I didn’t notice a decrease in quality with the screen resolution so that made me happy. The anti-glare and anti-fingerprint isn’t the best but it does help some. Of course, it’s not completely anti-glare, but it reduces it significantly due to the low reflection angle! You really have to tilt the iPad to get a glare. So it works at the angle I need to work at (plus for me)! Fingerprints are still very apparent, though I clean it a lot less than when I had no screen protector. My writing has become a lot smoother thanks to the paper-like feel (due to the pencil not lifting off the glass screen). Hopefully it won’t wear down my pen too much. Overall I am satisfied with this product! I would recommend it if people prefer good quality for a lower price (versus the excellent quality at $40+ from the original paper-like creators).

UPDATE AFTER 3 YEARS OF USE: I have now had this on my iPad since Feb 2021 and after HEAVY use, I felt it was time for a new one. I knew immediately i would be purchasing this exact one again (it came with 2 when I bought it but after 3 years, I have no idea what I did with the other one lol). I am also just now replacing my pencil tip as well. I noticed VERY little wear and tear on my pencil with this protector which is great bc some other brands have caused significant wear to my pencil tips. I have had no peeling, lifting, or scratching. I did have some bubbles when I applied it, but they haven't gotten any worse over time. In fact, I think some of the smaller ones ended up going away. 10/10 will purchase again (I literally am purchasing this again right now lol). Original review: I LOVE this screen protector. It was kind of difficult to apply, and I do have a few bubbles, but that’s entirely my fault. I use my iPad mostly for procreate and this has kept my Apple Pencil from being too shaky. I feel like without the protector, the pencil glides way too easily. So the extra resistance is perfect. I also just really love the sound of drawing on it. It sounds like actual pencil on paper.

This tablet cover has gotten me through an entire degree where I was writing noteas everyday, for multiple hours- in terms of quality and durability, it's amazing. The texture was odd at first, reminding me of wax paper, but after a few days I noticed improved handwriting because the pen won't slide around the screen. It fits right on the screen, not blocking anything. I'd recommend cleaning the edges as they can pick up dust, but it's pretty easy to clean.

Despite following the directions and watching the video (which it does have an easy installation) there are still quite a bit of bubbles. I mean it does feel like paper and as an artist, I do like that... However, it conflicts with my pen and sometimes my pen isn't read at all. Also Don't expect 100% perfect bubble free fit. The chances are you going to have at least a few itty bitty bubbles. Personally, I'm not too fond of it. I don't know if I'll get it again.

First, the screen works exactly as described. Writing with the Apple Pencil does feel like writing on paper and I don't hurt my bare finger either, when I use it. It is also a clear picture with little glare. Glad I bought it. Last; install is easy if you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and dont freak while doing it. I admit I screwed it up on my first install. I kept trying to make it perfect with no dust or bubbles and as I kept lifting the screen back up and down more dust would fall on the screen or protector. I got frustrated and just laid it down and lived with it, after a couple weeks, I realized how much I did like the product, for it's purpose but always noticed the lil bubbles and the corners were curling/peeling up. So I got another screen and followed directions and video. I even asked for lil help from customer service, lisa politely told me, just follow instructions and tips. Even installed it in my bathroom after running a hot shower. Had evrything laying out on the sink, prepared. Nerdishly but with confidence, I installed in half the time and it's PERFECT! My point of all this, is you read all the negative comments about intallation and you get up tight and mess it up. Just do what they tell ya and you'll be fine. Reiterating, I do love this screen.
