Disney INFINITY Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey

Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey Is a collectable figure based on his character from Fantasia movie and a game piece for Disney Infinity game. I pre-ordered this figure because I wanted to make sure I got Mickey. This figure looks awesome and he plays well in the toy boxes too.In game, Mickey is good combatant. He is only available in the Toy Boxes, but I certainly wish there was a Fantasia based Play Set.His main attack (Triangle button on PS3 controller) consists of magic blast. He can fire this attack in a quick succession for devastating effect. If this is used while jumping, it creates an area effect with an animation of dancing brooms. Awesome! His special power (R2 trigger on PS3 controller) consists of bolts of magic that travel at long distance.His dodge (Circle button and Left Thumb-stick on PS3 controller) consist of:a. skids back.b. skids left or right.In all, Mickey is the character I was waiting for, a must for a game which dares to be called Disney Infinity.

My daughter was a huge fan of Skylanders, which was the original video game that required you to buy endless figures and paraphernalia for use in the game. She is also a huge fan of Disney, so I thought Disney Infinity would be a huge hit at our house. It wasn’t. She just never really got into it - and I kept encouraging her by buying the figures of her favorite characters. She did play Disney Infinity some, but it just never took hold the way Skylanders did.THE KID SAYS: The included toy box modes had good stories but beyond that there was so little direction that some people could get overwhelmed. The stories were easy to finish up and after that it was hard for me to come up with ideas for the sandboxes.

Mickey is a fun and powerful Infinity character to play. He can take on the worst of enemies with his magical powers. Try him in Brave Siege (sold separately) He works in both 1.0 and 2.0. My daughter bought this version of Mickey (crystal version available) After trying her game piece my other daughter and I bought him as he was so fun to play with. My daughter owns all of the infinity characters, Mickey is among her favorites to play.

My kids love Disney, as do I, and everyone knows Mickey is a must have for Disney fans. He is pretty cool little character. The only thing I can say is he only works in "toy box" mode. He cant be played in the regular game. That said, he doesn't get a lot of play in my house because the son I bought him for would rather play missions in the actual game than free play in the "toy box" mode.

My cousin was planning on getting the new Classic Mickey for 3.0 so I decided to get thus version to compare when the time comes.That said this Mickey is a beast in game. He's very powerful, his special attack damages multiple enemies and sometimes more than once. He can also regenerate health if you choose that in the skill tree. His regular attack is pretty lackluster in comparison but if you have skill points left or like using melee weapons go right ahead.Overall I consider this figure to be the strongest 1.0 figure. Heck he even dominates 2.0 figures.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas for her Wii U. She calls him the "Lizard Mickey", meaning wizard. I haven't played him myself so I don't know how his moves work, but she plays him a lot in the Toy Box area of her game and he seems to shoot shoot magic from his wand. The figure was in perfect condition when we got it and works as it should on the system. It also comes with a card to get Mickey on the game's mobile app.

I didn't buy this for its intended purpose. I don't own the game. I bought this as a collector's piece for my dad. He collects Mickey as Sorcerer paraphernalia. When I gave it to him it was almost as though I bought it for a kid for the game. He opened it immediately with the biggest smile on his face. A few seconds later he said, "I probably should've left it in the package...". Seeing his face was worth the price 10 times over.

My 4 year old loves everything Mickey - and this is no exception! In game, he has great moves actions and sound effects. Just happy Amazon is still carrying these as the infinity is being discontinued for some stupid reason. Very happy with my purchase.

His character on the game is powerful and darn cute. Hope there are more Mickey Mouse figures with a world of their own!
