Is the waveshare 2.13inch e-ink display version 1 or version 2?

Hi,The 2.13inch e-Paper has updated to v2 version for a some time.How to distinguish between 2.13inch e-Paper and 2.13inch e-Paper V2? The e-Paper which has v2 sticker is new version(V2 version). We can send you the two compared pictures for better understanding if you need, then you can send us message to get it,thanks. The controller of 2.13inch e-Paper v2 is different from the old version. Demo code is updated, and it is not compatible with the old version.Please check which version of e-paper do you get before you download demo codes. So if you have bought this e-Paper display couple months ago, then you can distinguish it as the method i mentioned above.Hope it could help you ,thanks.

Can a heat sink fit on cpu when this is mounted? how much space left?

Hi, That depends on the height of the heat sink, but it seems that is it not need to add heat sink
