Van Gogh. The Complete Paintings (Bibliotheca Universalis)

I got this book for my wife and she loves it. Her favorite painting is the Starry Night. This book gets very detailed about his life and his paintings. I for one don't care for art but she does & this book is perfect for her. It's over 700 pages and it's exactly what she needs as an art lover.

This is a great book. It’s not large, but I find it to be the perfect reading size. Great for any art lover!

I love the presentation of this book and how everything you’d like to see is included. It’s very comprehensive and beautifully presented. It is a little smaller in size than you’d expect, but you still can see all the detail of the works. Great, compact, collection.

The book is high quality, but it had a sticky substance on the cover when it arrived, and stuck to one of the other books in my delivery. Otherwise this is a nice book with quality content, thick cardstock, and quality graphics

Excellent very thick , it's give you all of Goug's work i love the deepness of his pictures and his struggles that inspired such beauty i am amazed by Artist on both levels music and Art,how the use of pain and dispare are transformed into life and hope beautiful testament to life always finds a way

The colors in this were true to the original paintings.

Great quality book. 6x8x 1 3/4” in size. Quality binding- lays nice and flat. Beautiful, clear images all throughout the 700+ pages! Good history without an overwhelming amount of text! If you love Van Gough you’ll love this book!

Delivered very fast. The book would be nice in larger size with more higher-resolution pictures. A little corner and few pages of the book wrinkled by the envelope.

Ottimo libro, compatto e ben fatto.

In light of the ongoing Van Gogh exhibition in Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, I bought this book to edify myself about his mammoth oeuvre and its long-lasting influence. This book covers the Post-Impressionist poster child's journey from the moment he breathe to the denouement of his short and tragic life: as a tortured man and artist. The book is well-researched and written (albeit opinionated) in an engaging narrative that is, for me, impossible to elicit boredom, paired with beautiful photographs of his impressive, eye-catching body of work.
