I've owned this key holder for a little over a year and a half now and use the crap out of it. I know what you're thinking "just keeping the keys on it doesn't really count as using the crap out of it" and you're right. I do service work for an apartment complex and have to hold 12 different keys on my key ring. I am pulling my keys out dozens of times per day, extending and retracting the cable. I can say, based on using others, this is by a wide margin, the best I've ever owned. The coated metal cable is strong and holds up well to a lot of use and the spring that retracts the cable is strong and keeps the keys close. The down sides (and yes, even with a 5 star review, there are still some down sides). If you're going for a minimalist look, this may not be the one for you. The reel is about 1.5" in diameter (about 40mm). The size is due to the quality of the cable and spring and the length of the cable, not a problem for me but again if you want sleek, not so much. Another less than stellar thing is with webbing that connects the reel to the carabiner clip. It's strong just kind of not pretty. The one side you have the tail of the webbing that is just exposed as opposed to being folded over and hemmed in. Again, for me a service tech, not an issue but just be aware. Finally, and again, this is not enough for me to knock off any stars but it's good to know, over extended use the plastic coating around the cable will begin to crack and when that happens the cable starts to catch when you extend and retract. Then, after more use and abuse, the cable will start to fray. I've actually been able to extend the life of mine by feeding the cable further through the keyring side, making a new knot, and cutting off the 1/2" of damaged cable. This again was due to a lot of usage and it's just what happens over time. Not an issue with the product and I would think that with if you just used it a few times a day, you'd get a few years of use out of each of them.

Great quality key chain. My one comment.....the "belt clip" is a little a bit stiff and that's not a negative comment. I know it won't come loose easily and fall off my pant belt loop. I've had other retractable key chains and they weren't nearly the quality of this one. Will definitely recommend and if ever needed would repurchase.

Very heavy duty. Has my gym card and is attached to my gym bag. I feel very confident this will not break and loose the card.

Bought this for my work keys and has been great so far retracts great after been used alot in a day 5 days a week. Clips well on my belt loop, seems strong.

I bought this in conjunction with a couple other things to help hang my phone in its carrying case into my pocket. I have lost quite a few phones bcuz my job is a very physical one and from getting holes in my pockets to the phones actually falling out of my pocket from all the heavy moving, I needed something to help stop that from happening. And so I bought these along with a pack of 4 Favofit Carabiner clips, and the Tiflook for Samsung Galaxy S22 (my phone is Note 10+ but fits perfectly) and figured I'd link this to my belt loop via a carabiner clip and the other end to my Tiflook carrying case where it's all supported by being inside my pocket. It worked pretty well as it all has kept my phone from falling out my pocket. But the first one of these broke a week ago, I think it's been nearly a month since I bought it. But still. Theres 3 in there and it's already kept me from dropping my phone a few times so I guess it's just a quantity over quality thing here. But I'd much rather replace these then replace my phone.

After the nightmare of losing all of my keys, I was searching for a keychain that would keep my new set securely attached to my purse. These fit the bill and have the added advantage of being on a wire that pulls out to reach any keyhole you need to get to. Excellent purchase!

What I Like - I wanted a way to clip my very large key chain with way too many keys to my pants. This works really well and hooks on easily to my belt loops. I have a very heavy keychain and this still retracts properly. It seems like it’s made out of quality materials and that it’ll last a long time. I put mine through a decent amount of abuse with the weight of it pulling down multiple times a day, and it still retracts the same it did the first day. What I Don’t Like - Nothing yet.

High quality and fit the bill for me, I was tired of losing my keys. I can have it tethered to my belt loop on pants, and still use the keys to drive Very happy with it, I should've bought awhile ago (I just recently lost my keys, so this is a lifesaver)
