Leonardo. The Complete Drawings (Bibliotheca Universalis)

My nose has been in this book ALL DAY! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK!

Really cool book

The book size is slightly bigger than the size of a paper back but it is thick. Almost a drawing on every page. The contents of Da Vinci sketches is amazing. I use a magnifying glass to study them. It is wonderful to see how the master sketches with such precision. It takes time to appreciate the sketches. Specially his studies on horses. It is a beautiful book. Must have for one want to spend time to study his masterly skill. It is invaluable in my book shelf and for drawing reference.

I was expecting a full sized book. This was pocket sized.

This is an amazing collection of da Vinci's Work. I purchased it for someone who had read Walter Isaacson's " LEONARDO DA VINCI" Needles to say, they were beyond thrilled. Some of the reviews said the dimensions of the book were small, but the book was very thick. This is true from a factual standpoint, but I don't agree with those who were critical. In my case, the end user who was born in the 1930's, had no complaints about the size of the illustrations, ability to discern detail, or comfort handling the book.

Book came in as if it was used by someone, the 4 stars is given based on the condition it arrived, with dirty pages and some bent pages. As for the book being detailed with information as described it's a 5 stars for me. Excellent book besides the minor setback. I bought 2 different books from taschen and 1 was wrapped in plastic but this one was delivered as it has been used before by someone.

Da Vinci's masterful sketches between the covers of one book. Was expecting a larger book but, actually, the smaller size is better: for travel, perusing in bed, etc. A great companion book as I read Walter Isaacson's biography of Leonardo. The editors and publisher Taschen have produced a beautiful book.

Muy buen libro y muy completo eso si es algo pequeño lo cual yo no sabia al comprarlo por lo cual yo les digo eso si tiene muchas hojas y en ese aspecto es grandisimo si te encanta este increible genio de la humanidad este libro es para ti.

I don’t know why people complain about its size. It’s the perfect size. Gives it a more intimate feel of an artists sketchbook. Which is essentially what this is. Beautiful book. So glad I have it in my collection.

O livro é lindo ! Não é grande , relativamente pequeno mas bem grosso, capa dura. Uma obra prima !!! Vale muito a pena, todo em inglês !! Feita com material especial, as páginas são meio plásticas, simplesmente incrível! Recomendo comprar todos dos artistas que mais admiram , muito imagético !
