It works really well, Windows 11 recognized it and installed it automatically and it was ready to go. Fingerprint enrolment is easy and recognition is prompt enough and accurate. You need to keep the finger maybe 2s on the reader but I think that's reasonable. My laptop's integrated finger print reader is not any better so I'm guessing the only FP reader possibly quicker than this one would be a Kensington FP reader, but for almost double the price? no thanks. The build of the reader feels solid, made of metal and not some cheap plastic and the FP area is actually really good, bigger than most laptop integrated ones. For the twenty something pounds I paid for it, I'm really happy with the product.

This is my 2nd device Fingerprint USB Biometric device which works perfectly fine under Microsoft Windows Hello! ++ authentication, which in turn, now allows me to seamlessly login to my desktop and on OATH type application such as password managers and other Applications/Services which normally would have required 2FA or complicated, MFA and use of 2nd devices to use as authentication. Specifically, I estimate the combination of using a fingerprint as a means to validate login credentials & seemless integration into OS's Platform & Apps has speed up the entire process by a number of minites each day, which cumulatively adds up quickly. Best of all, I'm able to drop from my own brain's memory the countless variations of passwords, i had to remember previously used across multiple Devices and WebApps/Domains. This is really one of those "No-brainers" type solutions to a common problem of Keychain management (via pwd manager). Its sturdy design with metal body housing makes this unit feel robust to last many years of repeated, daily usage! Best of all, if for whatever reason the device should malfunction in the future, you have redundant fallback to either PIN/Password/Facial recognition (if enabled on App/OS) to maintain the same levels of security.. This really is a Win/Win! Simple, Fast (0.5ms) & responsive biometric authentication, all whilst maintaining high levels of secured encryption, without complex passwords. I now own 2 of these fingerprint USB devices, One is deployed onto my main BMC Server and the Second is deployed onto my Desktop machine, I will be acquiring a third for my PVE Hypervisor as a replacement for WebAuth / PAM passkey authentication.

I plugged this into one of my spare USB ports and windows 11 didn't initially recognise the device. Tried another USB port and same again. Go into windows account settings and tried to setup using windows hello fingerprint device and it just went around in circles with taking your fingerprint and creating a pin. Gave up and rebooted my pc , with the fingerprint reader left plugged in, upon restarting windows seem to recognise the fingerprint reader and asked if it wanted to be setup....I just followed the setup steps and it now works with no issues. I also had problems with some apps asking for my fingerprint when signing in, this is a setting in Google Password Manager, settings, turn off " use windows hello when filling passwords" and email login , app login will just stay logged in. Overall, the device works well, I think it was more of a windows bug that initially tripped me up so plug it in and restart windows and it should offer you the option to setup the reader during the start up of windows.

I picked up this fingerprint reader from Amazon for only £22.99, with prime, meaning the delivery was the next day. In terms of looks; I like the way it looks; it complements my PC beautifully. It does protrude a little bit, about a centimetre. However, in terms of looks, it still looks quite nice plugged in at the front; you wouldn’t want it at the back for practical reasons; however, you can get a desktop usb extension, if you do not want it plugged at the front of your pc or you haven’t got a usb port at the front; not all pcs are created equal. Setting up was easy; it was a case of plug it in and windows automatically installed the required drivers; from them on, you go to your settings to register your finger print(s); dead easy. By the way, you can store up to 10 finger prints; the reader also has 360 degrees fingerprint detection, making it easy to sign in at any angle; it’s also lighting fast, with way over 97%+ accuracy rate for me. In terms of durability; I’ve been using this reader on a daily basis for over a month now since I purchased it with no issues; I know it’s too early to tell; however, looks wise, it looks like it was well built; however, only time will tell. In terms of value for money; at £22.99, I would say that’s reasonable for what this thing gives you; valuable protection that a lot of us take for granted; until, one day you’re unlucky and your system or worse still your identity is compromised due to sloppy practises. In my opinion, this little gadget is definitely good value for money.

Utterly useless. Works one time in six at best. I had one from this company years ago, and I just thought they must be much better by now. Spoiler alert: they're not. I've lost count of how many times I've redone my fingerprints. Sometimes that makes a difference for a day or two. All I've done is add a delay to starting my PC. Try fingerprint x 3, then Windows says to use a PIN, enter PIN. This is all on a desktop PC with Windows 11. A complete waste of money.

Ürün yurtdışından gelmesine rağmen hızlı bir şekilde elime ulaştı. Ama paketlemesi pek iyi değildi. Windows 11 otomatik olarak tanımadı fakat ürünün resmi sitesinden gerekli driveri indirip kurunca hemen tanıdı. 10 parmak izi ekleme özelliği var. Parmağınızı hemen algılıyor ve Windows açılıyor. Facebook,youtube vs gibi daha bir çok site için de yine kendi resmi sitesinden indireceğiniz smart-id yazılımı ile parmak izi ile oturum açma özelliği var. Bu sitelerde oturum açma bilgilerini saklayıp her sistem kurduğunuzda smart-id programına import ederek kullanabiliyorsunuz. Şu an için bir sorun yaşamadan kullanıyorum. Bilgisayarı her açtığımda şifre girme derdinden kurtuldum. Alacak kişilere kesinlikle tavsiye ederim...

Tellement bien que j'en ai racheté ! Pratique pour se connecter à son ordinateur sans code pin ou mot de passe, pour éviter les yeux baladeurs...fonctionne très bien !

J'ai jeté mon dévolu sur ce modèle de lecteur d'empreintes pour ne pas avoir à taper mon mot de passe Windows. Il suffit de le brancher et il est directement reconnu. Ensuite il suffit d'aller dans les paramètres Windows pour créer une connexion via Windows Hello et on vous demande d'ajouter une empreinte. A partir de là, il faut suivre les indications pour que votre empreinte soit bien sauvegarder selon divers positions de votre doigt. Une fois sur la page de connexion Windows, il vous suffit de poser votre doigt pour accéder à votre compte. Globalement ça fonctionne bien. Parfois en fonction de comment on pose son doigt, il arrive que le premier essai ne soit pas validé. Alors je bouge un peu mon doigt et la détection se fait. J'avais peur des avis négatifs qui disaient que ça ne fonctionnait pas ou bien que taper son mot de passe ça allait plus vite. Perso je pense que ces gens là ne savent pas s'en servir et/ou sont trop exigences (dans le sens où si ça ne répond pas immédiatement à la première pose du doigt, c'est que c'est nul). Chez moi ça fonctionne bien. Dernier point : en fonction des applications ou des sites internes, vous pouvez également utiliser le dongle. Par exemple ma banque accepte d'ajouter une connexion via ce genre d'outil. Je l'ai donc ajouté dans mes connexions sécurisées et je me connecte au site internet via le dongle. Pareil pour vos comptes Outlook par exemple.
