All Natural Bar Soap for Men with Zero Grit, Spearmint Basil

This is my second Dr. Squatch purchase. These products are wonderful, the first bar I tried was the Citrus and Cedar which also is amazing. This is cold process soap which means there's some extra things you need to consider if you're going to use it. I saw a lot of reviews that said the bar doesn't last and even saw a video of someone spraying it with water.Scent: Spearmint BasilNot going to lie when you open the package it smells just like DIll Pickles and it's pretty strong. Once you shower with it though the smell becomes sweeter and is very pleasent. These soaps don't use perfume scents so, no, they don't cling to you all day or fill a room with a very chemical and artificial smell. They get you clean so you don't need to mask what it didn't remove. The scent washes off of you in the shower and leaves you with only a very faint scent that doesn't linger long.Moisturizing:I have very oily skin typically and products made for oily skin go way beyond oil reduction and leave your skin a dry husk. Dr. Squatch gets my skin clean and free of oily residue without leaving it dry and itchy. When you step out of the shower and dry off your skin feels soft and clean, you can feel air against your skin and it after a day or two of use, your skin looks a lot healthier. If you've ever used other moisturizing soaps you probably know they can leave an oily feeling film on your skin which I can't stand, other soaps for oily skin make your skin feel like it's pulling and covered in astringents as it dries and will commonly result in dry scaly skin. Dr. Squatch does neither. It leaves you feeling clean and soft and makes it feel like your skin can actually breathe.Longevity:As I said earlier this is a cold process soap which means it doesn't like to sit in the water flow or be wet all the time. The best way I've found to use it so far is to keep it out of the shower or higher up in the shower away from splashing water. The best way to apply it is to get your skin wet, use the bar to lather and then use a wash cloth or shower sponge, etc to scrub and exfoliate. If you leave this soap under running, hot water, it WILL melt rapidly.Other Uses:Since I'm keeping the soap near my shaving supplies to keep it out of the shower, I also tried using it for shaving and it turned out great. It actually outperforms anything I've used previously, delivers a smooth shave experience, and leaves my face feeling clean.

Out of all the dr squatch bar soaps i’ve bought, this smell is by far the best and smells exactly like my mint leaf garden. gives that coolness on ur body when you use it and in my opinion, I like that feeling. the bar feels smooth on the skin and moisturizes well. the durability is pretty bad since the bar can break easily if you’re not careful, but overall when u use this bar of soap, it makes you feel clean and better yet has clean ingredients.

The scent of the soap is extremely nice feels like it was freshly made it can last about 20 to 25 showers so the size is pretty large and after the shower you’re skin feels nice and smooth and fresh also feels very clean after the shower

This is great soap. Compared to general body wash, it feels more natural and I feel like it gets me cleaner. I'm certainly less itchy with this soap. It smells GREAT, but the scent fades after about a week. It still faintly smells like the intended scent, but the general natural soap smell is more prominent. I still prefer this over body wash. I prefer to actually be clean and not covered in chemicals rather than just smell nice for a few extra minutes.

I made my first purchase and really like this soap. The spearmint basil scent is amazing, and easily scores five stars. I also gave five stars for sensitive skin because I believe this soap is made with sensitive skin in mind. Given the quality of the ingredients, and the simple fact that this soap is recommended for beards and the skin below, I would say that it's all good for sensitive skin, and I have experienced no irritation or discomfort whatsoever. Also note that Squatch doesn't use any harsh chemicals or preservatives in their soaps.I gave five stars for longevity because, even though I've only been using it for a few days, the bar hasn't shrunk in size very much. I also cut the bar into smaller sections becasue it's easier to handle. So expect some good mileage out of it. If you're referring to longevity in terms of a lasting scent and cleanliness, this soap passes with flying colors.I've had a goatee for many years now and have only, recently, become more serious about growing and maintaining my beard. My research led me to Dr. Squatch for their beard soap which was highly recommended in a lot of online articles I read. For first-timers, this isn't just a "beard soap". You can also use it on your whole face. Dr. Squatch also seems to be a company that takes a lot of pride in the quality of their products. They also seem to care a lot about customer satisfaction. This also goes a long way with me. I made a solid purchase, and will be buying more Dr. Squatch products in the future. Thank you!RA
