I am a DIY noob and had to use some lining paper over an area that was all cracky and rough to paint over, and this worked like a charm. I used a solvable adhesive and put it on the wall, and then put the paper on, it was super easy to do and it was my very first time doing anything like this. The paper is good quality, gives a similar effect to plastering but without the cost and easy to DIY

OMG this lining paper is a game changer. When I took of existing wallpaper it took of the fine skim plaster. I didn't have time or resources to pay for it to be reskimmed or the time for it to dry so I could hang paper. This may be a little more expensive than most but where the previous owners had a picture rail and it was only the plaster below that had come off it had left a ridge despite sanding. I sized the walls and left for 24 hours (difficult for me being a woman as patience isn't a gift I am blessed with), then I pasted the wall (you can paste paper or wall, your preference) and the paper went up with ease. Its virtually made the roughest of walls really smooth and I can't believe the results I have got without the need of a plasterer. The paper is thick, easy to handle with amazing results. Mine came undamaged and in quick time. Absolutely brilliant.

Ordered one roll didn't have enough so reordered . The reorder was cheaper thinner paper you could see the cracks through it
