Amazing Sound and Features at this price point!
When it comes to the Creative T100 2.0 Compact Hi-Fi Speakers, placement is key. Whether you choose to position them on your desk or place them with the back against the wall, the results are impressive. I was blown away by the unbelievable sound they produced. Despite their compact size, these speakers can get really loud, surpassing my expectations. In terms of value for money, the Creative T100 outshines other options in its price range that you would typically find in stores. The range of connection options is excellent, and I particularly appreciated the convenience of the remote and on-board controls. The build quality is sturdy enough, although it primarily consists of plastic with a metal grill. While I haven't explored all the available features, I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the sound output. The speakers deliver great treble and bass, although they may not reach the low frequencies that a dedicated subwoofer would produce. Nevertheless, the bass still packs a punch. Nice soundstage creation when directly in front of the speakers. If you're on a budget or have limited space, the Creative T100 is a fantastic choice due to its compact form factor. It's challenging to find a set of speakers with such a comprehensive range of features, controls, and impressive sound quality at this price point. Overall, I was pretty impressed with the Creative T100 speakers, and I highly recommend them.

Sound great good value
Initial review is worthy of the investment as they sound great and were a fair price for 2.0 speaker set. Top speaker controls are minimal but useful. Remote allows lots of options for sound modes, volume, Bass and Treble control, BT control and USB/BT skip functions. The voice is very clear which is what I was needing for multi lingual conference calls. Bass is decent for the size and overall sound is crisp which makes me very happy. There is also a sub version but for me that would not work as they tend to not be 110/220w universal on subs. Dislike: Half the experience with electronics is the input controls. The remote controller is functional but cheap feeling and larger than it needs to be. The battery door on the controller is not flush and comes off easily. The speakers have a gloss piano black plastic like the original xbox one x. I expect it will scratch and scuff easily. They should be the matte black that the top of the speakers sport. There are no mounting options these are desktop only. Great quality and value.

Fine, has ups and downs.
I have had other speakers for my PC, Klipsch and Bose. Bose is quite good for music and has a balanced sound profile. Klipsch 2.0 have had less base but better dialouge, which has been good for films and even other applications that I need to hear dialouge clearly. These unfortunately fall right in the middle, after some EQ tuning. I tried using them in bluetooth but there was a slight lag for discord or in game comms, and over sometimes there was a strange random pop or drop in quality. I connected it with a cable and this resolved that issue. Even after EQ tuning, there seems to be a stronger bass than there is for mid or high's. It's still acceptable range for my uses. I got them on sale, so I believe they were worth the price, as they replaced the Klipsch 2.0's. I was able to add the speakers to my harmony remote, which makes it easier to control. Value wise, I think its only good if you can get them sub 100. There are simply better choices if you were to spend a higher price. These are larger than my Bose companions but smaller than the klipsch so make sure you have adequate room. I do like the minimalist style.

Don’t buy.
The sound quality is great but otherwise these speakers are a nightmare. Makes annoying beep every time you raise or lower the volume and it interrupts the music completely. Other issue is you can’t have anything near these speakers at all. Nothing in the vicinity or you’ll get major static noise/destortion/sound skipping. It’s terrible. I’ve tried every connection type and these speakers are still a nightmare. MB their only good for Bluetooth? I’ll give them one last try this summer outside after that I’m tossing them. Sad, cause they sound and look great. I had another creative speaker that still works to this day I bought in 2010 and it’s now 2026.

Creative T100 Review
I purchased the T100's to enhance the sound on an older Sony LCD TV that I use in my office. I hooked them up using an optical cable that I had purchased previously for another application. I have to say that the sound is dramatically better and I'm extremely happy with the overall experience. I believe these are typically used for computer applications, but they worked out well with my TV. My setup is as shown in the pictures. Creative did a great job designing these, as they have a small footprint with very clean lines. I use the speakers primarily with Amazon Music, but they sound great for everything else I'm watching on TV. The setup was simple and straightforward. I've also paired them with my phone via Bluetooth, so I can listen to the full catalog of songs on my phone. The remote has fairly good functionality, with a set of four EQ presets for music, cinema, concert, and gaming. It also has a set of controls (stop, next song, fast forward, fast backward) for use with Bluetooth or USB sourced music, as well as treble, bass and volume/mute buttons. The mute is nice because my Roku remote on this TV doesn't have a mute button. Of course, sound quality is in the ears of the beholder, but for as compact as these are, the sound is excellent. Creative did a great job engineering these. One note of caution - I had to send the first pair back as the remote battery door was incredibly difficult to open. For the second pair, the remote door was just as difficult to open. The solution is to use a small flat screw driver that fits in the crevice of the door and use it to put sideways pressure on it while pressing down on the arrow. So you have to put a good deal of pressure in two directions to make it unlatch. That's the only issue, but the workaround isn't too bad if you know how to deal with it. I predict these speakers will become one of Creative's most popular. I was very happy with my purchase and wish you the same good luck if you decide to buy these.

I wanted to love these, but they hit a pet peeve
Man, I really wanted to love these. I've been using a set of Bose Companion 2 speakers on my PC. They have pretty good sound, but the majority of what I'm "listening" to on my computer comes from YouTube videos and audiobooks that are very speech heavy. I felt like my Bose were a little more suited for music and some of the vocals were muddier than I'd like (and there's no quick way to change the sound without a dedicated EQ program,) so I tried these, as it was simple to change the audio settings from the remote, depending on what I was listening to at the time. Having the ability to use USB and Bluetooth was an added bonus. I set them up and tried them out. Yes, the sound was good! Easy to change the EQ with the remote, got a bit more clarity on the voices in my shows - but there was something off. I stopped my show. About 10-15 seconds later, I noticed the room felt even more quiet than it had since I stopped the show. Then I got a notification on my computer and 10-15 seconds later, it got MORE quiet. I played around and realized, while these speakers don't have the dreaded electronic "hum" that some powered speakers emit, there is a low, sort of air wooshing sound (best I can explain) when the speakers engage. Once I picked up on it, I could hear it underneath the audio as well as when the audio stopped. The wooshing noise continues for about 10-15 seconds after ANY sound is made on the computer. Email notification ding? Another 10-15 seconds of white noise follows until the speakers actual go silent. EVERY. TIME. As a person with sensory issues, it quickly became bothersome and distracting to me. I tried changing settings, I tried changing volumes, it never went away. It's like a processor or something in the speaker engages any time they make a sound and just stays on waiting, then turns off if there's no additional sound. Next sound, there it is again. Just in case this was a normal thing I hadn't noticed with my previous speakers, or a cord issue, I unplugged the audio cable from Creative speakers and plugged it directly into the Bose speakers. Then I tested. Played sound, stopped, NO sound whatsoever when the audio stopped. No latent wooshing after notifications; just pure silence. The ability to change the EQ with the remote and connect via Bluetooth was AWESOME and I really, really wanted to be able to keep these but the wooshing is just too bothersome for me, personally. A lot of people would probably never notice that background noise or be bothered by it, and for those people, these will be fantastic speakers and I really think you'll love them. For people using these speakers in an otherwise silent room, who are sensitive to ambient noises, that extra 10-15 seconds of white noise that drags on after every single time there is ANY sound made by your computer, may become as nerve wracking for you as it was for me. Other notes: Bluetooth connection was quick and easy, the remote was easy to use, and the change of sound modes via the remote was subtle but substantially different for each of the 4 options. The volume on the remote ONLY controls the actual speaker volume itself, not the computer volume, or the volume from your Bluetooth device. For example, with the physical speaker volume all the way up, but the PC or cell phone volume is at 20%, pressing volume up does nothing but make the speakers emit a low beeping noise to indicate they are already at full volume. In order for the remote volume to be useful for you from across the room, you'll basically need the source (PC, Cell phone, etc) volume at 100% and control all speaker volume with the remote or directly from the volume buttons on the right speaker. It's workable, but worth knowing ahead of time, if that's going to be an issue for you. Overall, between the wooshing noise and the remote volume setup, I gave these an overall score of 3/5 stars, because either of those issues alone would each lose a star for me.
