what is the length of this caming sleeping bag? does it fit adults?

At 86" long and 30" wide, I'd say it's about perfect for most adults. (black version, other colors may come in different sizes.) I'm 5'11 and 220 lbs. I can stretch my feet all the way to the bottom and still cover my face with the top layer. There's still a a few inches left for a taller person than myself. Now lying on my back, it is a little snug around my upper arms. Someone heavier than myself might want to look elsewhere. Luckily for me, I'm a side sleeper so it's not a problem.

Is this for warm nights? don’t give me the seller standard bla bla answer of this blocks out temps above 60f and keeps you warm. when it’s 85f you don

We purchased them for homeless outreach clients and they fit our requirements of being compact and light enough for transport while keeping people warm at night.

How effective is this for home furnishing and business travel?

Pretty good. We use a couple of these along with two inflating mats for when we travel and might spend the night somewhere without a bed free. They tighten to pretty small size too, about the size of two softballs for each bag.

Think this would be good to hand out to the homeless in a tropical climate? (I was thinking that its size and portability might make it a good choice)

Sure, the size is pretty small and it's ok for warm climate at night. Definitely won't do on more cold environments, but on a warm climate sure do. And probably this will be better than nothing. Nevertheless, the outside is pretty thin and it's not suitable for using over rocks or pointy edges.
