Easy to follow!
This is perfect! My daughter is 6.5 years old and absolutely loves this book. Now she isn't making knots in a string and calling it art. Super helpful!

Great for road trips
Got one of these for myself and one for my grandkids (age5-10). Grandkids LOVE it! They couldn’t wait to show their teachers what they could make. And it keeps them off of screens. I also LOVE it. I got it for myself to exercise my fingers during a long road trip. I have arthritis in my fingers and when I’m just sitting with my hands in my lap, or holding my cell phone, my fingers get sore and puffy. This was a fun activity that kept my fingers nimble, and brought back fond memories.

Really nice book
I used to play Cat’s Cradle when I was a kid. My granddaughter wanted to learn, so purchased this for her birthday. We will have fun learning together.

Childhood game brought forward
I bought this for my grandkids for their mother to play with them as I am far away. However, be sure you can be there to show them how as our excitement about how we played it is needed for them to get into it.maybe better pictures in it or a link to a uTube?

If You Can Get Your Elementary School Off the iPad, It Will Suck Them In
I put this in my eight-year-old’s Christmas stocking. He got so many other glitzy toys that he didn’t pay much attention to it at first, but once he got bored with everything else and pick this up, he hasn’t stopped playing with it since. He learned to make all of the formations described in the book without my help, he can do it by himself or with his brother, and now that he’s mastered everything in the book he’s moved on to attempting to invent and name his own formations with the string provided. This was a great Christmas present that has kept him occupied for a long time, and considering how inexpensive it was it was a very good value.

ddefinitely a hit with the kids
Looking for toys/games from 100 years ago and found these and a few others. The kids loved them and played with them throughout the birthday party held for my MIL who turned 100.

Confusing instructions as well a metal crimp inteferes!
Returned item as it was too confusing to follow for the person for who it was intended! Also the string is connected with a metal crimp which can intefer with performing the figures & games smoothly.
