Brilliant! Small But Effective!
Got this to add to my Home Assistant setup, for detecting shaking from my washing machine. I had to set it to high sensitivity to react to small vibrations but it works. Do not forget to change the time for the reset of the vibration sensor for continuous vibrations such as a washer. Works perfectly with my sonoff zigbee stick, instantly paired after holding the button on the small sensor. I really just expected this to be a vibration sensor and that's it, but oh my, it is a Temperature sensor too! This small guy reports Temperature, Vibration, Motion and the Angle it is at!? This is a great little device to have around! I am using Zigbee2mqtt with mosquitto and HomeAssistant, and as soon as Z2M picked it up the entity was visible in HomeAssistant with all sensors reporting almost immediately. Why almost you ask? Temperature and Battery took a little while to come through as it only reports every 5 minutes or so. Overall I am very satisfied with it, the only small thing is the packaging, its oversized for such a small device, lots of paper waste. But otherwise works wonderfully and will certainly buy more in the long run!

Work efficiently and effortlessly
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I love Aqara devices. They just work efficiently and effortlessly. I've got door sensors, temperature/humidity sensors/vibration sensors all from Aqara. For me they are only way to go for home automation and especially good integrating with Home assistant without a hub through ZigBee. Top notch stuff. Thanks Aqara

Thermometer isn't accurate
Vibration sensor works but the thermometer is poor... Not even close to being accurate, about 5c out and only works in whole numbers. Complete waste of money

Unresponsive
I was using Zigbee2MQTT with a SONOFF USB Zigbee Dongle and couldn’t get this sensor to work reliably. Pairing worked but it was constantly missing sensor data and was generally being unresponsive.

endless possibilities
Tiny little sensior that can be used in many automations. I use this in Home Assistant and despite it not being as functional as it is when used in the native Aqara app (which reports tilt, vibration and drop) it is still as useful addition. There are so many uses for this little sensor, attach it to an office chair to detect presence, attach it to a washing machien to report when the washing is finished or attach it to a valuable item to know if and when it was moved.

More shock than vibration sensor
No hub required if running a Zigbee coordinator like DeConz in Home Assistant as I am. Just pair and go. Not as sensitive as I'd hoped it would be, so no good for my intended use which was to detect when the tumble dryer is running. Maybe this 20+yr old re-branded Creda sheet metal monstrosity is actually super smooth running because when stuck to it this sensor stays fast asleep. Give it a tap and it's awake, but not if there's the vibration from the motor. It's now on the underside of my office chair so I can see roughly how long I spend at my desk. And I had no luck changing the sensitivity. As an aside, I used an Aqara window sensor and a 240v coil relay connected to the dryer motor power feed. When the motor is running the relay opens the connection (reed switch removed) and there it is 'Running' in Home Assistant.

False alarm built in
Too many false alarms to be considered reliable or even useful

Simple to set up vibration sensor works with Home Assistant
Installed on the from of the microwave so when the door is opened it triggers Home Assistant to switch the microwave on. Had to turn the sensitivity down from the default "high" to "low" as a high pitched bark from the dog would otherwise be enough to trigger it! Still get the odd trigger when no ones near it or even in the same room, haven't figured out why that is yet, but for the most part it does what I purchased it for. As to battery life, it's still showing 100% after 2 months of use.

I purchased two. These work great and are an acceptable price. They are not fully functional in Alexa routines. I used these to tell me when my washer and dryer completed their cycle. I didn’t purchase the feature on the machines when I purchased them 14 years ago.
