If you think all oatmeal is just oatmeal, try different brands and then come to this. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Right away, when you open the container you can see the freshness, cleanliness, colour, all are comforting. You can see you have quality. And it even smells fresh! Not like most brands that smell like the container or like the product has been sitting around a while. I tend most to cook oatmeal the "instant packet" way: pour it into a bowl with a pat of butter, pour boiling water over and let it "rest". I like the little "bite" instead of the "smooth" cereal I remember from child-hood. This is ready to eat, in about 2 minutes and the taste is fresh, healthy, pleasant. From now on, this stays in my grocery list here. No more "name brands", no more "store brands". It tastes great and it feels great knowing I've eaten something plain, pure, simple, clean, wholesome.
