I bought this headband to keep my hair back when washing my face. It’s perfect for that. It’s at the hairline so it’s angled in a way that it stays on my head. I think if I were to wear it like a headband, in the center of my head throughout the day it might slip back like some other reviewers. But for my purposes, this is exactly the right size, not too tight and does not fall off. Instructions say to hand wash and air dry which is probably best if you don’t have a delicate washing machine cycle, but I have had no trouble popping it in a little mesh bag with my delicates and letting it air dry. It’s a really lovely color, just as pictured and is really soft and easy on the delicate hairs at the hairline. I recommend this purchase.

I've browsed many different brands of silk headbands and wasn't really sure which one to purchase as they honestly all seem very similar. I decided to try this one from Zimasilk because it qualified for free shipping / free returns, and because I also wanted to purchase a pack of silk scrunchies from this brand. As soon as I received this in the mail and tried it on, I fell in love with it and ordered another one immediately! First, I have a small-ish head (meaning that hats are usually too big for me, or I need to buy the smallest size hat available), so finding this style of headband that doesn't slide off can be rather difficult. I would say this is best suited to small to average head sizes. This is made with a sturdy elastic, so the elastic portion feels nice and secure. It might be a bit tight if you have a larger head or if you are extremely sensitive to pressure. I purchased this for wearing around the house as I hate having hair in my face, and it's so comfortable I forget that I have it on. The quality of the headband is awesome. While some accessories like this can come with uneven sewing or loose threads, this was nicely constructed and I didn't see any sewing issues. The silk is a heavy satin and feels luxurious and plush. I expected it to be quite thin for the price and was pleasantly surprised. I purchased the Light Blue and it is a beautiful color. I wear it at home with my matching Zimasilk scrunchie. I also purchased the Taupe so that I can have another one to rotate out when it needs to be washed (hand wash with delicate detergent, air dry). Highly recommended and I can see myself purchasing this as gifts for friends and family.

I loved this silk headband. It's very chic and the slip of the silk is very nice. I bought it because I have really coarse hair and breakage on the fine hairs at my brow/my bangs. I switched to silk hair ties and wear a silk bonnet to sleep and have noticed such improvement that I wanted to use all silk hair accessories. I was so excited to find this band but sadly it's just about an inch too small in circumference -- it's giving me a headache. I have a big head and a lot of hair, so I don't think this band is sized small, in fact it's probably average sized. I'm fairly certain that this will work for most people. But I need a band that's a bit bigger so I'm going to give this away. I considered putting it on a wooden shoe tree LOL but I figured I can just buy and use a silk scarf for the same purpose. Oh, well! I'm only taking a star off because I wish there were s/m and m/l options. It's a really nice item, otherwise.

I had high hopes for the ZIMASILK Mulberry Silk Headband because I’m a fan of silk accessories, and while there are definitely things to love about it, a few drawbacks keep it from being perfect. Pros: First off, the silk feels genuinely soft and luxurious against the skin. It’s gentle on my hair, which is prone to breakage, and I’ve noticed less frizz and fewer tangles when wearing it throughout the day. The twisted design is chic and versatile — it can easily dress up a casual outfit or complement a more polished look. I also appreciate that it doesn’t tug or leave dents in my hair like tighter, synthetic bands tend to. Cons: That said, the fit is a little hit or miss. I have a medium-sized head, and while it’s comfortable initially, it tends to slip back after a while, especially if I’m moving around a lot. The elastic isn’t quite as snug as I’d like for a secure, all-day hold. Additionally, while it’s advertised as 100% Mulberry silk, the thickness and durability of the fabric feel slightly more delicate than expected — it’s beautiful, but I worry it won’t hold up to frequent use. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely accessory for gentle, occasional wear, especially if you want to treat your hair with something soft and elegant. But for an active day or if you’re looking for a headband that stays firmly in place, this might not be the most practical choice. Would I buy it again? Maybe — but I’d be hoping for a slightly better fit next time.

Although it is a nice silk headband it does not fit correctly on my head and my head is comparatively small in size. Frequently slides off my head!

I love this item I use it when I’m at home relaxing or when I need to study and get my hair out if my face. It fits perfectly and isn’t to tight on my head nor to loose. It’s a great quality headband that’s easy on the hair and useful around the house. Highly recommend it as it comfortable! And the pink color is cute.
