EXCELLENT for Everyday Writing, Very Comfortable For Sub-.5mm lovers
First, it's Uniball, and that means top shelf quality. There's actually 3 shades of blue Uni uses: The 207 blue, the 307 Blue, and the Blue Black, or navy. This pen writes excellently as do ALL the Uniball products I've used, but I'm partial to the blue-black and 307 brilliant blue, which is like cobalt blue. It took me awhile to get used to writing in sub-0.5mm tips, and after using all the major brands I'm now very happy with this size ball, and learned to press lightly with them, which is actually less likely to cause writers cramps. The ballpoint ink versions always have a finer line than the gel, so an 0.7mm ballpoint will write like an 0.5mm gel pen. The 0.4 or 0.38mm gel will write like an 0.5mm ballpoint. Most all the companies have thinned their ballpoint ink down to a more hybrid-like ink, and oddly, all the companies' products manage to give us a different feel on the paper. I like them all, but especially the new Schmidt fine point 9000 Parker style (hybrid) refills, and Zebra's 0.4mm gel in blue. Again, it's takes adjustment to get used to that size, but in time you'll love it.

Does not write well
I was so excited to find these pens since they were such a fine point. However, they are so fine that they barely write.

Great pen for picky people, like myself
Some people don't care about pens but I'm not one of them so these made me happy. Never been disappointed with uniball. Good, sturdy spring, so no issues with retracting. Good ink flow. These didn't freeze up and quit working even when I left one in my work truck overnight in -45ยฐC
