Flower Arranging For Beginners is a book full of information that I will be able to use. The pictures and directions didn't disappoint. I have no formal floral training but after reading this book, I have produced my own beautiful arrangements. This book makes it so easy, you can use it to make the exact arrangements you see in the beautiful photos or use it to make originals of your own by changing flowers, colors and vases. The author makes you feel confident enough to jump right in and do your own thing. I am quite please with this book in its contents, pictures and knowledge. Just about anyone can learn from this wonderful book.

This is a fantastic book. The alphabetically listing of flowers suitable for flower arranging is worth the price of the book. Each flower is shown with a picture, a description, and the form type of the flower. Ms. Blacklock covers choosing plant material, mechanics, the elements and principles of design, and then offers many beautiful projects. With this one book, you could start with arranging tulips in a vase and go all the way to arranging flowers for a wedding bouquet and arrangements for the reception. (But I would also buy the small paperback by Judith Blacklock, "Flower Arranging (Teach Yourself)). The book covers the basics and presents many creative, innovative contemporary designs. I love it!

This floral book is just so very awesome! I have really learned a lot from this book! I am very interested to become a floral designer. My #1 favorite hobby is silk floral designing. I have given this wonderful book a 5 star rating. There are tons of very helpful hints, floral tips, and etc... These methods that are very well explained to us floral designers out there.... in both words and also in photographs and in lots of real colorful pictures by going thru each design with showing by using step-by step of and inside this book. And also there is so much more to see inside here.......

This is subtitled “The complete guide for beginners” and it is! It is also lovely to look at while you learn about flower arranging.

Lots of pictures with step by step instructions. Explanations of many things involved in arranging flowers. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to arrange flowers or as a gift to someone interested in gardening.

I bought this book because i recently start working in my floral department and wanted to learn other things i wasn't showed so I wanted to invest myself into learning as much as possible myself besides what I am being taught there always room for more knowledge. I highly recommend.

It is a great book with a lot of pictures and covers almost all things you need to know about the floral design.
