Choco Leibniz Milk Cookies (12 boxes) - Leibniz Butter Biscuits topped with a thick layer of European Chocolate - 4.4 oz boxes

These cookies taste great. Unlike some of the other chocolate topped cookies, these have chocolate that extends past the edges of the cookie. The price can be a bit high, but you can save quite a bit if you buy the larger number of boxes. I'm not sure why there are two different styles of English language packaging but I've had both and there doesn't appear to be any difference between the cookies inside.

these biscuits are wonderful, I used to always buy chocolate digestives from England but they've changed the recipe and the chocolate is now horrid. Then I switched to French Lu chocolate biscuits and they are excellent but they've recently become so expensive that I simply couldn't justify the money. These chocolate biscuits have become my new favourite, the biscuit isn't quite as buttery as the Lu ones but they're very tasty and crisp and I do like them. The chocolate however is marvellous! Thick and rich and delicious, even better than the Lu biscuits so I am delighted. The packaging is fine but if you live in a hot place you'll have to get them as soon as they're delivered because they'll melt and stick together, then there's nothing you can do then but eat them four at a time hahaha These biscuits are well worth the price and I won't be eating anything else unless they jack up the prices, American biscuits (cookies) are inedible as far as I'm concerned I am SO glad I found these.

Simply the best milk chocolate covered biscuits on the market today. It’s tough to beat Le Petite Ecolier, but these do.

Very high quality Affordable price

My boyfriend's dad is German and he loves sweets. Chocolate is one of his favorites, but I wanted to give him something a little different. Some research showed that this is a popular, known brand in Germany, so I took the plunge and bought him a three pack. His face lit up when I handed them to him, as he immediately recognized the brand as something he ate back in his childhood. It was a lovely moment! Taste-wise, he said that these were good. He didn't mention any sort of melting and I didn't see any evidence of this with the packaging either, so this batch traveled well. I think that it would've been a different story if it were during summer, but that's to be expected.

The chocolate has melted so, the cookies look old and not fresh. I was unable to serve these. They were crumbly. And since I had already opened them, I could not return them. I purchase these every year for my calculus class when I teach Newton and Leibniz notation. Such a disappointment this morning!

Normally these cookies are very good and I have never even thought to check the expiration date but I did this time after tasting the first one. They appeared a bit dusty and the taste was stale. The expiration date was 4/30/25. These weren’t technically expired but definitely not the normal quality or a value for the money. Update today 3/25/25 I received an email from the company offering a full refund for the cookies so there do read these reviews. However the second box out of the 3 with same expiration date was normal and delicious. The company did not ask me to update review but since they cared enough to send the email offer I felt it only right.
